WHO WILL TAKE THE CURE? — On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies. Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) life is in danger after a ghostly encounter, while Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) join forces to battle a ghost determined to find the cure. As everyone gathers for the graduation ceremony and the ghosts converge, help comes from an unlikely hero. Caroline (Candice Accola) receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine (Nina Dobrev). Finally, Stefan (Paul Wesley) discovers a horrifying clue to the mystery surrounding Silas. Chris Grismer directed the episode written by Caroline Dries & Julie Plec

I'm fairly certain Caroline's gift will be letting Tyler come back. At in my head, that's really the only thing that makes sense.

Yeah, Tyler is the gift. I know it needs to happen, but it guarantee's Forwood for season 5. Remember when we thought Tyler was going to be all cool and say he'd found a new wolfpack and that's why he didn't stick around in 4x19, because even he wouldn't be so lame as to sneak in and out in 10 minutes? LOL. So, I fully expect him to get permission to come back and he'll show like it never even happened. Oh well. Even this doesn't bother me as much as it did. Shipper life is getting me down. Instead I'm going to focus on my dream of Kol sneaking through the veil before it closes and then leaves with Klaus and Rebekah to NOLA. It'll be the greatest thing ever Julie could do at the moment. Just thinking about Kol getting in trouble down there. Yes, please.

I'm with all of you - I think that this is what is going to happen, especially with Klaus leaving town. Not only would this help improve the Caroline and Klaus relationship but it would give Caroline the chance to resolve things with Tyler. With Tyler on the run and out of the picture, Caroline is just going to continue pining for him and the "if onlys" and "what ifs" would make really difficult for her to ever move on. Then again, who knows... maybe they will surprise us and it will be an all expense paid trip to the Big Easy...

Do you think Caroline is going to find out about the Klayley thing in this episode?
I don't know if I can see Klaus telling her. Their goodbye is going to break our hearts!

Both Rebekah and Katherine know (and probably Silas) so there's a good chance she'll find out way before Klaus comes back in 4x23. I could see them sort of talking about it, Caroline just lending an ear. I don't see her getting all mad and grossed out like some seem to think. I'm very anxious to see how they end things. I think Klefan's goodbye is what is going to get me. At least we BETTER get a goodbye scene with them!

klaus called her at the end of 20 for offering her a "trip" so why klaus will release tyler the moment after ! ? ok it makes sense it's tyler but I think it's too obvious ! and maybe it's not him !
Plus ! klaus will back to mf (photos of the shooting ) just for releasing tyler ? he could free him from no ! no need to come back in mf

I was reading my ew magazine and Julie says she changed her mind half way into the season on who she wanted to take the cure.

God, I'm scared now. Things can't possibly get any worse, can they? This is the one thing that's keeping me hopeful about TVD this season. And for many others as well. The ending just needs to be great, that's it...we've had a difficult time putting up with this awful season and the spin-off's reaction. Sigh. I'm just too weary atm. lol Could it have been Damon at first, and then Elena or was it the other way around? When all of this is done, JP better tell us everything. She hasn't had the best time running this season herself, I suppose.
Take the baby plot as well, the writers had probably known it all along yet the actors didn't or did Julie change her mind afterwards too? What on earth was she thinking?

As long as none of the Originals gets the cure, I'll be fine. I wouldn't think they'd go there, since the cure is a TVD story and they won't be mixed in with that next season, but you never know. I just need my baby Klaus to get out of that town with his powers and his heart intact.

If JP with her mind change ruins the season finale, the ratings for season 5 are gonna drop even more, God is this moments when I feel that I hate her so much! LOL, I know it makes no sense but I can't help it. And yes The Spinoff in reality (outside twitter) is getting more negative than positive among the fans.. Sad really You had One job Plec one JOB

I'm fairly confident that it's one of the Salvatores taking the cure. So either she changed her mind from Damon to Stefan or the other way round. We'll see. Doesn't Damon become human in the books at some point?
Also, has anyone else noticed that the writers have been silent about Stefan in their season 5 previews so far? E.g. Dries said in her interview that E/C/B will be roomies and even mentioned that Damon can't go to college (of course), but nothing on Stefan. Hmm...
