I too am thinking the hand on cheek picture is Caroling trying to persuade Klaus that it is her and not some Silas/stake-induced imagining. But to really, REALLY make him believe it, she needs to make hot sweet love to him. I could deal with this, but I doubt it'll happen.

One thing that I really dislike: Klaroline is A-Unit in this episode and how much coverage do they get in the promo? Euck. Who cares about Elena?

Maybe Kat or Mandy could explain it better, but there was something on Tumblr that said just because they worked with the A unit didn't mean they had the main storyline.....Unsure.

I think it was KStew who made that post about what them being a-unit actually means. I'm unsure as well. Considering we have Elena/Rebekeh/Katherine/Elijah in one place, Damon/Stefan in another, and then Klaroline back in MF I'd say everyone should probably have equal screen time.

Back to that Elijah thing...do you think him seeing Elena's humanity turned off will make him go easy on her? Is his feelings for her as strong as Klaus's, for Caroline??? That letter in 3x15 makes me wonder. Nah! I hope he doesn't go easy on her. I think deep down, Elijah has felt more for Katherine than he ever did for Elena and his chemistry with the HUMAN Elena isn't entirely like that...maybe with time, it could develop into something more but no thank you! LOL...Klaus will hit Elijah about the head with a book or something, "Can you please not...still moony-eyed over these Petrovas? Disgusting!" and then, Elijah will bang him about the head too, "You're a fine one to talk! Allowed any more peasants to soil your bed lately?" Okay seriously, I want Elijah to get down to business. Serious business. The thing to think about with Elejah is that Elijah was attracted to her in the first place because of her compassion. He respected her humanity and her drive to protect the people she loves. She doesn't have that anymore. Even before her humanity got shut off Elena was doing some pretty horrible things (like committing mass murder so she locate the vampire cure for herself). He's not going to like that not only has Elena lost her morals, but she's also incredibly sneaky with her motives now. She purposely lured Kol to her house under the pretense of wanting to have a friendly chat with him. That's not going to sit well with him.

You know what really ticked me off is that even that brief moment was only in the extended promo--the one I saw on TV didn't even show them at all. I was bouncing right out of my bed waiting for the promo after the episode ended, and all I got was a few seconds of a cat fight between Katherine and Elena.

We got these MIND-BLOWING stills, though. So we can dream and fantasize to our heart's content for the rest of the week. I haven't finished staring at the pics yet, especially the one where she's holding his face. MY FEELS! I fully expect Klaus to collapse into her arms afterwards, mentally drained, with his hands grasping for her and his face buried in her neck and after a few seconds, Caroline slowly puts her arms around him and DEAD.I'M.SO.DEAD...

I thought the stake was indestructible. Although, technically Silas didn't destroy it. He just broke it into two separate pieces. Do you think it is possible that Silas made Klaus hallucinate being stabbed with the stake? And he's clawing at himself for something that isn't even there?

About the stake though...yes, I think it was supposed to be unbreakable as well. LOL Esther...whatever! And Klaus has been stabbed with that stake before...it makes me wonder if that buried bit of wood is really causing the hallucinations. It could partially be, since it looks like Caroline's helping him take it out. And yes, Silas must have finally gotten into Klaus' mind...he did say something like, "Your sister's mind is easier to read than yours."

Why would Caroline be holding those pliers, though? Unless he's hallucinating that as well, I suppose. I think he was actually staked. I don't really see how he could be "diseased" otherwise. I liked the theories floating around that perhaps Silas' bite is as poisonous to Klaus as his is to regular vampires, but obviously that doesn't apply here seeing as how Silas didn't bite him. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Klaus helpless for once. He's such an all-powerful BAMF who has pushed people around for so long that it'll be interesting for him to suddenly realize he's not the biggest dog in the yard anymore.

Im pretty sure he's actually diseased/hurt. Caroline with the pliers is NOT an hallucination. Im looking forward to seeing Klaus realize he isnt the biggest dog in the yard but Im NOT looking forward to Silas being a big fat meanie to him. @aeidial , omg if he collapsed in her arms with his face in his neck, I'd just break down, right then and there LOL

I used to wonder if Silas's blood was the cure itself... Yeah...and we have yet to properly lay eyes on it.
All throughout the season, I was worried sick (still am) about that indestructible stake exchanging hands every now and then. How come it's so hard to hide a foot-long piece of wood? JUST LET KLAUS HAVE IT! And then Kol died. Now Silas comes along and just snaps it into two pieces. Great! I wonder if only Silas is able to do that...doesn't make sense though.
I just want to go through the tv screen into the TVD universe, find that stake and have it sawed and shredded. And then you all can watch me walk into the sea and scatter the shavings over the waters, accompanied by a Celtic score in the background. And I'll bring back the daggers with me. Who wants to come with me? LOL we should all go in...we can visit Kol's grave and pay our respects. For Jer too. And we can give Shane a proper funeral and say some nice things about his passion and his curls. I know Mandy will sneak off later to purposely run into Vaughn somewhere.
Seeing Klaus like this is giving me lots of anxiety (it makes a nice change, I agree and he's SHIRTLESS, for goodness' sake) but I don't want to see any of these weapons flashing about in the spin-off....ever again.
