Yeah; it does seem as though he intends to use Klaus in some way. He flat out says he doesn't want to kill him, and clearly, if he'd wanted to, he could have. He probably figures that Klaus sick and in pain and possibly hallucinating will be much easier to manipulate. He doesn't realize that all he has to do is send in Caroline's boobs. Haha

I still think Tyler will tell her he found a pack that needs him OR it'll be more closure. I think the latter is more pivotal though.  I am SO lost on what my bb Elijah is planning. I just hope Rebekah/Klaus are NOT involved or hurt by it. Just NO. I like the theory of him doing something to Elena though  I dunno...I wanna see Elijah go crazy but still know what he's doing, you know? I haven't even seen the promo yet (I cant yet because of some internet issues) but just by her face and the misplacement of the words give away that its a hallucination. Caroline knows he's already IN misery from the pain (CREYS) and her face is just SO unnatural looking. So yeah...Im sticking with Silas being a worldclass JERK and giving Klaus some horrible visions of his beloved baby vampire.  Back to that Elijah thing...do you think him seeing Elena's humanity turned off will make him go easy on her? Is his feelings for her as strong as Klaus's, for Caroline??? That letter in 3x15 makes me wonder. |

I think deep down, Elijah has felt more for Katherine than he ever did for Elena and his chemistry with the HUMAN Elena isn't entirely like that...maybe with time, it could develop into something more but no thank you! LOL...Klaus will hit Elijah about the head with a book or something, "Can you please not...still moony-eyed over these Petrovas? Disgusting!" and then, Elijah will bang him about the head too, "You're a fine one to talk! Allowed any more peasants to soil your bed lately?" Okay seriously, I want Elijah to get down to business. Serious business. |

I think Elijah does have a soft spot for Elena (or dare i hope, he did, before she killed his brother  ) and he is by far the noblest of the Original siblings (I guess that's why he sends apologetic letters to people who just tried to kill him and his entire family). But IMO there is no comparison between K/C and E/E. Klaus' feelings have been slowly progressing for two seasons now, while Elijah's connection with Elena never really got developped (well, Elijah has barely been on the show anyway). And keep in mind that Elijah seems to be sharing the doppelganger obsession (nobody's perfect ): Tatia, Katherine, Elena. I think his interest in Elena had more to do with this obsession than any genuine romantic feelings tbh. |

Yes, agree. I think any feelings he has for Elena stem from his fascination with doppelgangers. There's certainly no comparing E/E and Klaroline, considering how much the latter has been developed and how little we have seen of the former. I also think (hope) that any feelings Elijah once had for Elena have been totally purged by the fact that she just murdered his baby brother.

Stefan said in 4x17 that the "didn't know what Silas could do" and that was why he wanted Klaus since he was for the most part indestructible. Klaus looked surprised to have rushed Silas and he just disappeared. |

I too am thinking the hand on cheek picture is Caroling trying to persuade Klaus that it is her and not some Silas/stake-induced imagining. But to really, REALLY make him believe it, she needs to make hot sweet love to him.
