RACE FOR THE CURE — Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) take off in search of Katherine (also played by Nina Dobrev) and find themselves in a small town in Pennsylvania, where Elena has a surprising encounter with another old acquaintance -- Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies). Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are both concerned about Elena’s state of mind and are determined to do what’s best for her, but she makes it clear that helping her will be difficult. Damon is not sure how to react when Stefan reveals his unexpected plan for the future. Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) receives Caroline’s (Candice Accola) reluctant help and comes to a new understanding of Silas’ powers. Kellie Cyrus directed the episode written by Evan Bleiweiss & Jose Molina (#418).

Fans of Daniel Gillies' ever-honorable Original vamp Elijah were thrilled to learn that Gillies has signed on to be a series regular cast member on "The Originals," the potential "Vampire Diaries" spin-off series. The backdoor pilot for the new show will air on April 25, as an episode of "TVD." In addition to Gillies, fans can expect to see Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt, and Phoebe Tonkin in that episode. But the news just keeps on getting better! Zap2it has confirmed that Gillies will be making his return to Mystic Falls even earlier than that, in Episode 418. My bby Elijah and KC being naughty  but when people have sex on the show, don't they ALWAYS show the morning after, in the NEXT episode? It happened with Delena, Forwood, Debekah, and Stebekah. Not with Stelena though. Sorry Kstew but I don't know if Elijah will intrude |

I think we're all pretty certain that Klaus' sexy time is in this episode. However, JoMo mentioned in a tweet the day after he probably filmed the love scene about the arguing with someone about something that we don't know. If we assume he's arguing with caroline about them hooking up, that means that have scenes AFTER the sex scene. And like Kat said, they almost always show those scenes at the very end of an episode. So I am confused.
But with all the hints, I can't see it being with anyone else.

I'd die of laughter  @mandy: LOL jomo is so bad at being subtle, its adorable but yeah, I think the speculation should be put to rest now considering its SO obvious who his partner is... Not to mention that their relationship gets even more complicated. I just LOVE how they're A-unit in this ep. |

LMFAO! Kat, you never know with this show. My initial thought was he's arguing with Caroline because of what happened between them. Maybe Caroline feels like things just aren't gonna work out and it was just a one time thing and he thinks it can work... who the heck knows. But it would be pretty hilarious for Elijah to scold him in front of Caroline, ngl, I kinda wanna see it Them being A-unit is everything. |

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see Elijah scold Klaus for being a STRUMPET but it would seem so weird to me LOL hopefully it happens though ahahha Lmao KC arguing after hooking up would be so typical and suitable for their push and pull aspect  |

Who could they possibly talk about? I may or may not be the only one who squealed and pointed out to everyone that Elijah and Caroline shared the screen for a bit at the end of season 3...was there any another? |

sorry for the question, but what means the expression "A- unit"?? A-unit means that they are the main story line for the episode. There's always an A and a B plot. A plot gets most of the focus and screen time. Like, last episode, all the island stuff was the A-unit. |

sorry for the question, but what means the expression "A- unit"?? Every episode has two main storylines: the A-plot, which is the bigger one, and the B-plot, which is the smaller one. A-unit = crew working for the A-plot. Daniel Gillies has been filming with Nina and Claire in Stone Mountain, so I don't think he's any involved with whatever Klaus does in the episode. ETA: Someone was faster than me, I see. |

oh thank for the answer, so caroline and klaus will have the main storyline? the 4x18 will be about them??
it's a huge step to me, because means that the writer had understand the klaroline's potential if they believe that there will be the possibility to make an entire klaroline episode.. i dont think that this is never happen, in tvd history! im wrong??
now, it's so more difficult understand how they could destroy all the relationship beetween them do this spinoff and not make caroline let it go..
