Dee....I watched the death scene again and couldn't hear Klaus banging at the door. The music did get really loud during that scene. Kol death was more drawn out than Finn's I've heard a lot about a death that will change everything. Kol's death also changed a lot. But Jeremy's death would really effect Elena and the MF gang too.

No I was talking about when he was trapped in the living room banging on the invisible barriers cause he was trapped. Jeremy grabbed for the stake.

I do wonder what Klaus will do in retaliation for Kol's death? I have seen speculation that Elena and co use the cure on him, making him a werewolf, because he would be too powerful as an hybrid on the spinoff. I don't see that happening though. A lot of people think Jeremy might die because the actor who plays him, he was off-set and just recently came back.
I can see Klaus killing Jeremy, then the others deciding to resurrect Silas to bring Jeremy back. There was also speculation that Elena will turn the switch to her humanity when Jeremy dies.

I also read that the extended absence and/or death is supposed to carry on into s5.

I posted a theory a couple pages back in this thread that one of the Originals would force the cure on Damon. If the cure is in fact real, then somebody who doesn't have an interest being cured seems like the most likely answer because that's generally how TVD works. I've also been expecting something to happen soon that will [censored] up Elena's new found happiness with Damon. We all know their relationship won't be puppies and unicorns much longer. Something is going to have to happen to put Elena back at square one again in her love triangle with the brothers.

Oh, I would HATE that. I don't see it happening, either. Mostly because they will be trying to bring in NEW viewers to The Originals. So they won't start season 1 off with a story line that is much connected to TVD. Sure, there will be cross-overs, but a new viewer would be totally lost if they started episode 1 where the main character had powers stripped by some characters they have no idea who are on a show they don't watch. Know what I mean? They are going to use Klaus' hybrid status a pull to get people to tune in. At least the better. Plus, every time Elijah is mentioned in terms of the spin-off, it's always "he's trying to reign Klaus in" or "help his brother find redemption". If he were just a lowly werewolf, it'd be more like "Elijah tries to protect his brother". And the show is called The Originals. He kind of has to stay a vampire to be called that, right? Haha, sorry Josh! I came across that theory last night as well and it just bugged me to death. if Jeremy is the one to die, Klaus won't be in on it because it will happen on the island, while Klaus is back in MF. What is jeremy + death ship name?

Isn't Deremy Damon/Jeremy's ship name?? I like Jeath. It has a nice ring to it.

I don't want Jeremy to die. Am sad about Kol, really sad. His character was fun and snarky, and easy on the eyes. And I hate the idea of an Original taken down so easily. Heck Rebekah swallowed werewolf venom, and seemed to fare better. But it seems like the only kids with siblings were the Donovans and the Gilberts, and Matt already lost his sister. And then the only sibling groups on the show would be the Salvatores and the Originals. For a town so small, there sure are a lot of only children....

I feel bad for wanting Jeremy to die (if it were up to me it would be Elena who dies), but somebody has to pay for Kol's death. The Originals can't just let them get away with it.
