I agree SourWolf.......20000 thumbs down. Why didn't Kol stake Elena in the heart....cough...cough....plot contrivance. For a second I thought he had staked her in the heart because everything was happening so fast. Really mad that he didn't. At least Klaus was upset that Kol died. I would have been [censored]ed if Klaus started acting OOC by putting the cure over the life of his own brother. He might not be on good terms with his siblings, but he still does love them. I was utterly disgusted with the behavior of all the main characters tonight. Elena has easily become my most hated fictional character in just the course of two episodes.

I think he was less upset with Finn dying because he'd spent less time with them and Finn wanted them to die. I don't think Kol would've went through with his threat to Klaus. He was fighting against the evil that is Silas.
I'm disgusted too.....All the "We had to kill him. He was trying to kill us..and cut off Jeremy's arms." If he hadn't been invited in then it would've been a non-issue. Klaus was spot on when he said "You trapped him by inviting him in".

Yeah I can see why he didn't care that much about Finn dying, he tried to help their crazy mother kill all of them. I'm disappointed in Rebekah's reaction, though. She was upset when Finn died, yet Kol who she was clearly closer with than Finn dies yet she's choosing to side with the people responsible for his death? I know she desperately wants to be a normal, but I didn't find her reaction to Kol's death very believable. Not to mention I also find it hard to believe that she would want to continue this alliance with Stefan after knowing he once again deceived her.

I can only hope that Rebekah is "playing the player". I'm glad Caroline wasn't in this episode. But I don't doubt she would've been in on the plan if she was on the episode. Wonder what Elijah's reaction will be? It would be ironic if Silas turns out to be a big bad and they didn't listen to Kol.

Unfortunately I have no doubt that Caroline would have helped them if she had been in this episode. But at least we didn't have to witness her be Klaus's "distraction" again. I'm getting sick of that. It's just as bad as Rebekah constantly falling for Stefan's charms even though he has a history of betraying her. I'd like to think Elijah will be just as [censored]ed as Klaus when he finds out they killed Kol (which really should be his reaction of the writers choose to be consistent with the character), but Julie is now aware that people ship Elejah. Catering to the fans of that pairing might play into how Elijah reacts to Kol's death, unfortunately. The Originals should just disappear and let Team Elena deal with Silas on their own if Kol's warnings turn out to be true. It would serve them right after killing the one person who was trying to save everyone's lives.

I told you guys. Nate tweeted and used the hashtag #anythingispossible so I'm choosing to believe he'll be back. COME ON SILAS. Just ughhh. I am 100% done with Elena. And Jeremy. And pretty much everyone who didn't bat an eye at killing "tens of thousands" of people. I'm also sort of miffed at Stefan, although watching Elena have a little tantrum about stefan not daggering Rebekah made up for it a little bit. And KLAUS. oh man, all the awards Joseph Morgan. He admitted he wasn't going to make hybrids anymore! Thank you sweet baby Jesus. He planned on killing them all as soon as they had it and then destroying the cure. I LIKE THIS PLAN. So, what? Tyler goes over to fight with Klaus because he knows he's trapped in the Gilbert House? O_oI hope they tear it apart. And now we know how Tyler and Caroline get the sword. They probably just go through Klaus' house while he's stuck for 3 days. I am just irritated.

I was just saying that Damon didn't have a successful, good relationship with Caroline....or has he had one with any girl...So, looking for relationship advice from Damon might be like asking a plumber for medical advice....Don't hate me Josh. LOL it's cool, I thought it was kind of contrived that Klaus asked for advice about klaroline tonight.

LOL it's cool, I thought it was kind of contrived that Klaus asked for advice about klaroline tonight. AND I TOLD YOU GUYS IT WAS ABOUT KLAROLINE TOO. I had this episode called...lol. Nah, this is the only part of the episode I liked. First, because Klaus probably views his relationship with Caroline as similar to Damon's with elena. Well, pre- sire bond and pre-vampire. Elena was slowly falling for damon for a long time, so I can see why Klaus just wanted to know HOW Elena could over look so many things. And secondly......because the writers did NOT have to stick that in. In fact, it's something that normally would have ended up the cutting room floor. But they added it specifically because we're getting big KC scenes for the next two episodes and now probably 4x16 as well. Also, someone mentioned on tumblr that Kol mentioned New Orleans. That was placed there because of the spin off. They knew about the spin off when this episode was wrote and they still put that little Klaroline moment in there. They aren't dropping it.

I did have some satisfaction in seeing Elena's distress that Stefan didn't dagger Rebekah and finding out Stefan slept with Bek. My favorite moment of the episode was the Klaroline moment that wasn't.
I was wondering how they got the white oak, but remembered seeing Elena look suspiciously at Kol's jacket. The TVD lighting is very dark and I couldn't see that or that Elena got stabbed in the stomach.
I'm hoping on Silas resurrrecting Kol...I could do without Finn.
Wasn't there a scene in the promo with Klaus slamming Damon against the wall? I don't remember it in the show.

If he doesn't get resurrected by Silas, nate would be back for The Original's flashback episodes. But it wouldn't be the same I just want to watch the Damon/klaus scene over and over again and forget everything else happened. I am done with this show after this season, I'm pretty sure. I can't see how we're supposed to "root" for the Scooby gang. They've now probably killed more people than klaus ever has. No matter what freaking Damon says, klaus ALWAYS has a reason for killing someone, even if it's just for revenge. He doesn't do it for fun.

I wonder if Caroline may be the one MF scooby to feel remorse at killing Kol's whole line of vamps. Some that could have been just like her. One can dream.... I agree Mandy...I just want to watch the Klaus/Damon scenes and forget the rest. Yes, Kol was trying to hurt Jeremy, but as Klaus pointed out he wouldn't have been able to if they hadn't invited him in and they did that with the intention of killing him. Lame excuse of "he was trying to hurt us".

But she wanted to kill him and then threw in self-defense when she actually did? Um, no. I am in a RAGE.
