I'm actually REALLY glad Caroline wasn't in this episode. If she had been, she probably would have been in the plot to kill Kol and then I'm not sure where Klaroline would be. Klaus threw all of his drawings of Caroline away the first time she helped them attempt it....not sure what would have happened if she had helped and they actually succeeded. Gotta love the TVD writers for bringing a little humanity to klaus about the carol thing. He might not feel sorry about killing her, but they made sure to show he's nervous and sorry about what Caroline might think. I am SO optimistic about Klaroline right now. {Spoiler}I hate that Tyler's face is going be all over their scenes, but maybe he'll go to another room or something and they'll get some sort of privacy. if only so she can tell him sorry about Kol. Still nervous about the {Spoiler}tyler/klaus fight outcome considering those two gilbert idiots took down Kol. . I'm hanging on to how much Klaus fan girled over the episode as a good sign That should say Jomo, not Klaus. im really excited for kc next week. i know she'll show sympathy whether she intends to or not. and caroline dries wrote the ep. is it just me or is it weird that care wasnt involved in finn's death either? is that intended or just a coincidence? @dee: i got teary eyed

I think they might bring Kol back. He'll probably be resurrected when Silas is brought back.

That's the only shred of hope I'm clinging to. If the only way I get to see him is through flashbacks in the spinoff, I'm going to be upset. I get enough of that with Elijah right now only appearing in flashbacks! GRRRR! By the way, where's my little munchkin April in all of these shenanigans?

I was right to be afraid about this episode. Maybe this was the hard difficult stuff JoMo said about the past-Christmas episodes. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! My heart is literally aching from all the dry sobbing. There's no coming back from this for the MF gang (except for Stefan)! You hear me, NO CHANCE!!! I'm never ever going to forgive these morons for their double-standards and their lies. THESE DISGUSTING HYPOCRITES!!! How can Elena say that they HAD NO CHOICE and such BS?!!! Didn't Stefan tell her that they were going to dagger Kol and decompel Damon/protect Jeremy? Now who's the mass murderer, Elena? Ugh! She's a thousand times worse than Damon and Stefan and everyone put together. It's one thing to kill humans (they're vampires anyways) but it's an entirely different thing to kill thousands of their kind. Of their own kind? It's insane and downright questionable. Rebekah's reaction to Kol's death was not credible. I think before long, Klaus will make her come around or she'll herself. Stefan and Rebekah were awesome...Stefan, my poor Stefan! No wonder he's is the only MF gang member who's still honorable and the only remaining lead whose intensity and origins aren't in ruins. Ofcourse I'm holding on to the possible resurrection of Kol! (But they STILL killed thousands of vampires for their own convenience! They didn't want to get their hands bloody and wanted to save Jeremy the trouble and risk...unbelievable BS!) Wonder what Elijah's going to do now? And looking forward to see Klaus unleash his wrath upon the whole lot of them! What they did to him is so beyond unforgivable and incomparable to what Tyler had done to Klaus? Sadly these guys also have immunity but we know Klaus...he WILL take his time and concoct an unfathomable evil plan to get back at them. He'll never let Elena become human...he'll turn Damon instead or something. He'll kill their loved ones, just about anything will do...AVENGE KOL FOR US, KLAUS!! And make it unforgettable! They LOCKED him in their living room with his brother's DEAD body...just imagine what this will do to his already unstable, unhinged and distraught frame of mind?!!! Also what was that nonsense with the "bad guy" talk? Seriously, Damon's lines are getting worse by the minute. "Be bad with a purpose". Please, Klaus is SO NOT a wannabe-villain like you Damon! He's lightyears beyond you, okay? AND THE LINE THAT SAVED this terrible episode- "What is it you say to her?" Just the flawless delivery of that line (Joseph! Just stop...no no, never stop! my god!) with that meaningful backdrop tone....*sigh* PERFECTION. Kol died too easily...some serious explaining is in order.

Where's Tania? She's probably fuming over the fact that Kol ended up dying. It really kills me how Stefan knew this WHOLE time and Kol died thinking Klaus wanted him dead Caroline seems like the only capable one to calm him down

What are they talking about, Damon has only done bad things for a purpose??? He admitted to GhostMason that he killed him "because sometimes I do things that I don't have to do". He killed Alaric (one of the times) because "you [censored]ed me off". Don't get me started on what sort of purpose his thing with Caroline was. The writers have done a pretty decent job keeping Klaus true to character while he tries to woo Caroline, but they seem to want us to forget Season 1, most of season 2, and some of season 3 Damon and just remember this "honorable" villain. I do like that Damon tried to give him advice and wasn't really snarky about it, but.....I don't know. My hot werewolf Mason immediately jumped into my head when I heard that line. Everyone is speculating that Jeremy is the one dying in 4x15. Karma, anyone?

I'm having difficulties trying to figure out how to add more than one quote per post: Mandy: I agree....I was thinking Vicki, Andi, Lexi, Mason. I guess he had a reason for wanting Lexi dead, but it was selfish. Dee....I know.....Elijah chopped Trevor's head off with his hands. Grrrrr

Yeah, I'm a little mad at Stefan to be honest. I like that he didn't go through with the Rebekah thing (although him even agreeing to it made me mad) but him knowing about the Kol was going to die and not telling Klaus or Rebekah makes me furious. How is it that the MF Gang that it's ok to avenge their own family, kill people for the own family, etc but then the Mikaelson's are SO horrible if they do the same thing. I'm just nervous about the next few episodes now. I also can't wait til Klaus hightails it down to NO. He can make new friends.

I find it hypocritical of the MF gang as well, whose needs seem to only extend to their circle. The reasoning for not killing Rebekah is all the "innocent" vampires who would be killed. Yet that was thrown out the window as they killed Kol. My neck hurts from all of the lane changes they make. As for Elena...well I am not a fan... The Klaus and Damon talk was good, I thought it was interesting the words they used because its something we say all the time. They are all Vampires and no Vampire on that show is any worse then the other. Damon and Klaus' reactions were like they were two fan girls backi9ng up "their team" If JP was trying to put us all at ease to let us know she hears us..we knew she did

This one person on tumblr thought if Klaus had gone to Stefan for advice, he wouldnt take it seriously and just mock him. question. did klaus actually suceed in compelling damon? it was weird how the camera panned to the water.
