Yeah, when she commented on his drawings, all I could think was...so you thought they were romantic?
And their date...I'm sorry, but if you're only "getting something over with", you do NOT giggle like that and play a cute little game of keep-away and walk around with your arm through his, and tell the guy you think he looks perfect. (I'm always struck, every time I watch that episode, by how soft her voice goes when she says, "You're perfect.")
It's there. But she is so hung up on Tyler, and has been so beaten over the head with the fact that Klaus IS the bad guy, period, that she can hardly swoon into his arms and ride off into the sunset with him. Plus, I think that, throughout a lot of this, she's probably suspected that he's just playing with her. We know her self-esteem is not the healthiest where men are concerned--look at how, when he tells her that he fancies her, instead of saying, "Uh, yeah right, dude, what angle are you working," she simply asks him, "Why?" Like she can't believe some guy who's been around for a thousand years, someone who's seen so much and experienced so much could possibly see anything in her.

Like some of you guys, I'm a bit miffed about the "reluctant" bit but I agree with Kat, that it could be the nature of this help that makes Caroline reluctant. Wonder what it is
I'm so excited to see them working together...it seems like they're doing something dark and perilous. LOL It's gonna be very serious guys. They'll be looking out for each other, vulnerable-like, unguarded emotions and all. FEELS ARE COMING!!!!! Maybe they also do get physical and Donna was right about them beating someone up. 
And you are right, Mandy. Since this is the last Klaroline episode before prom and the backdoor pilot and we don't yet have confirmation whether Klaus is in the last three episodes or not (but he will be, right?), we really do need something more to go on with. Now they are being reluctant. Not fair.
Even though I always feel like nothing much could be done about Caroline's character for "Klaroline" this season, I'm now starting to think that this episode will definitely give us something big in this regard. It has to...Caroline has been "in character" (and I mean this sarcastically) for way too long.

He asks her for help with Hot Hybrid Sex...DUH. LMAO at them beating someone up aahhahahahha. that'd be epic to watch!  Just the thought of them working together in something like this and looking out for each other, ungaurded emotions.... asdfghjkl; STAHP. IM GONNA FAINT. D: Im really banking on something coming from Caroline's part, for sure. Its gonna be SO bitter sweet IF their 'goodbyes' are in this ep. I think I might actually cry and be like "they have all these epic moments in this ep and you tear them away from me?!" kinda thing LOL. Bottom line, Im gonna be emotional.  I dont want Silas being too harsh with them though!! Please be gentle! Just Silas alone is enough to make Caroline reluctant, guys....I cant blame her |

He said its a must see episode. He knows what the KC fandom enjoys, Alex I really am not expecting anything horrible. and with everyone else out of town, some honesty will come out. eeeek I cant wait to see my bby Elijah in the stills and klaroline ones *____* |

He's the perfect captain So...does Silas reach Mystic Falls by 4x17 then? And finds Klaus in 4x18? We don't really know if Silas 'finds' Klaus, do we? All we know is that Klaus tries to get a better understanding of him...that doesn't necessarily mean we'll see Klaus/Silas interaction. |

Would he really possess them or create an illusion of one of them? Someone mentioned Silas being some sort of shapeshifter, since he's not really possessing Shane. So, he'd probably mess with their heads, make them see things or take the form of either one of them. |
