"I tried to kill you. But you survived! So now we can flirt again!"Em, yeah, Matt survived. Except, you know, there's that little detail that Elena did not survive. Elena, the girl Matt is still in love with. I loooove Rebekah, but can we please not forget that so soon?  I completely understand why she did what she did and I was actually Team Rebekah when she led that car off the bridge (I mean, Klaus was dead, Rebekah and myself were both mad  ). But how do they think it's possible for Matt to show any kind of affection for her so soon after the tragic event? And I hate how people keep saying that Rebekah deserves better treatment by the Mystic Falls gang. Em, no. She just killed everyone's favorite person in the world. I heart Rebekah, but you can't realistically expect anyone in team MF to want to be friends with her right now. I hope Zach was trolling with this. I think I remember MT saying that Tyler could move one in an interview, or something to the line that he was interested in another storyline if it involved Clare Holt. I think they killed all chances of Tyler/Rebekah when Klaus inhabited Tyler's body. The thing that bothered me with Matt and Rebekah is I was unsure of what part of Matt was geniune with Rebekah. Sure, he was being a nice guy, but isn't that Matt's character? As Caroline started out as a distraction for Klaus, she changed as she got to know him. That was evident. Matt, I am not so sure changed... Personally, I would rather Rebekah be with Stefan or Damon. I want Matt to stay human so badly. |

Klaus and Kol may be the only other people in the universe who don't give a darn about her. Rebekah hasn't treated team MF particularly well nor particularly badly. But she's Klaus' sister. They already hated her by default. Elijah is only grudgingly accepted because he likes Elena. Everything in that group depends on Elena's verdict. She doesn't need a bf for that. Her brothers treat her like that (sigh), with the difference that they actually care about her. |

LOL my brother was watching last week's episode with me when Rebekah was taunting Elena and he said "wow, that Rebekah is a [censored] isn't she?"  Once again, tonight's episode had me feeling sorry for Rebekah too. This girl really deserves a break. I hope she can find someone who will care about her enough to stand up for her when she needs the support. She sure is not getting that from any of her brothers right now. |

It's funny how Rebekah is so easy to trust people and Klaus is the exact opposite, never trusting anyone. Mayby that's one of the reasons their relationship is so fascinating.
Elijah is probably somewhere in the middle.

I agree she's too gullible, but her willingness to trust people comes from the same desire Klaus has to find someone who cares enough to be on your side. Unfortunately Klaus fails to consider Rebekah's reasoning for trusting so easily. If he did he'd realize he and Rebekah a want the same thing. |

In real life we say to such girls to take a step back from boys and start cultivating friendships first. April is ready to be befriended. But on this show I doubt it'll happen.

I'm more interest in the April/Rebekah friendship than her obsession with Matt as well. What Rebekah really needs right now is a friend. Boyfriend hunting is something that should come later when she actually has some kind of support system she can turn to when she gets hurt by her latest crush.
