The word is they will NOT use "The Originals" episode as the pilot. It will be a NEW episode. However this is the clip released

Yeah, it should be a completely different episode. "The Originals" was a back door pilot, which means it's still considered an episode of TVD (and will be TVD's season 4 dvds) I'm sure they'll do something to catch up the new viewers who aren't also TVD fans, but I don't think they're going to replay an episode for it's season premiere.
