This may be wrong but I want Caroline to beat the heck out of Elena before the season is over. She tried to kill her and now the show is going to try to gloss over it. not cool

Ok so this is just a JOKING theory that MIGHT be plausible. Mandy is begging me to expand so here goes. What if Elena kills Tyler? In the 4x19 synopsis, it says Elena lashes out in a way nobody expected and Bonnie makes a horrible discovery. Klaus JUST proposed to be friends with Caroline so I cannot picture him messing that up this quickly. Im probably WAY off base but its fun to speculate.  Also, I dont know if KC have scenes in this ep (I HOPEEEE) because since they have each others' numbers, she can turn to him for a solution by calling him.  |

Maybe Elena does kill Tyler. Then Caroline goes to Klaus for assistance with Elena. I'm sure he'd find it amusing he got Tyler dead with not doing anything

A bit ago someone tweeted Plec about being disappointed that Klaroline hadn't kissed and Plec said "I know a lot of people want that, but my Care Bear doesn't want to be a cheater" which makes me think Forwood has got to be OFFICIALLY over before they take that next step with KC. Which is fine. But they'd definitely be over if Tyler were dead. The Elena/Caroline friendship would be over for a looooong time, but they've pretty much destroyed that anyway for the time being. I am just confused on this Tyler thing. Klaus has more or less said he won't try to kill him, so why wouldn't Tyler stay? Even JP said that Tyler couldn't come back until the Klaus thing was resolved , and then made sure to say that his one episode was NOT his return. So either the Tyler/Klaus ISN'T really resolved (maybe Ty comes back ready to re-start battle?) or that was just a cover so no one would see a Tyler death coming?
It would be wild and crazy and shocking and it will probably never happen, but it's a nice theory. |

I'm sure he'd find it amusing he got Tyler dead with not doing anything Yes, wouldn't THAT be ironic? I definitely don't think after this episode that Klaus is going to do anything regarding Tyler. He pretty much just admitted what Hayley accused him of in 4x16, which is that he let Tyler go. But Elena? Who knows, at this point. I'd find it odd for them to bring Tyler back for a short scene just to kill him, though. I'm still thinking it has to do with closure for him and Caroline. He is NOT going to be happy that she and Klaus have this new truce going on. Remember how ticked he was about the picture? He's going to be suspicious that something is going on between them, if it comes out that she and Klaus are now all of a sudden sort of buddy buddy. |

But ultimately, I think its closure horsecrazy: LAWL Tyler will want hell on Earth before Klaroline start being friends. For real. Lets not forget his reaction to the horsey pic. |

I'm sure he'd find it amusing he got Tyler dead with not doing anything I don't think killing off Tyler right now would be a good idea. Not because I like the character but because there's already a ton of characters leaving/dying this season. This wouldn't be the best time to deliver another main character death to the fans. Kol died and there was a huge uproar. Jeremy died and people were [censored]ed. Tyler left and Forwood fans were mad. The remaining Originals are leaving for their show and the opinions on that are mixed. Any more big changes will just alienate the remaining people who still want to watch TVD. |

It would explain why his appearance isn't a permanent return (but perhaps a permanent goodbye?). And you're right, after what JP said about Caroline not wanting to cheat, I'm more convinced than ever that it will be closure for them, whether he dies or not. |

I don't see Tyler dying, for the same reasons that sourwolf already stated. And even if there are no immediate plans to bring Trevino back to TVD, I think Julie will keep this option open. Right now I think either 1) Tyler comes back for a mini Forwood reunion, more love declarations, same old stuff. or 2) Tyler comes back for Forwood to get some actual closure…so that Caroline can finally move on. From spoilers so far we know that: -Tyler and Caroline will share a dance. -Tyler's appearance will not be his “return” and he won’t be back again this season.
We also have Carina's earlier comment that Tyler would be back for "one pivotal moment with Caroline". But I'm not sure how many details she knew about his return at the time...
We have speculated that Tyler will only appear in one scene, are we sure about that? Idk, if their ONLY scene is a dance scene, I don't see them breaking up in the middle of that...Although Kevin Williamson would do that.
I still don't understand why Tyler would come back and then leave again if Klaus isn’t even chasing him though...  |

Guys, I am going to go nuts trying to figure out what is going on with Tyler.
Like Tania said, not sure they would kill off another character so soon (although since Tyler's already been gone it's not like they'd be one more cast member short). And with Julie's tweet last night, there's pretty much no chance of KC happening until Forwood is over.
Tyler not sticking around is what confuses me. If he's not dying and Klaus isn't going to kill him, then it's almost HAS to be Tyler's choice not to stay. I like the pack theory, where he's found himself a new "family". If he decided to go with them, they'd probably end Forwood. If he asked Caroline to come with him and she said no, they'd probably end Forwood. The only way I could see them keeping them together is if Tyler is a pansy and says something about how he loves Caroline but doesn't feel save enough until Klaus leaves for good.....so pretty much asking her to just wait for him. That seems the least likely because we bring him back just to say this?
I'm starting to feel slightly optimistic that CLOSURE FOR FORWOOD might happen. If we are getting that kiss by the end of the season (and I am like 100% on this) TC need to be over.
