Carina said in her chat that Nina can't be on both show because you can't be on contract for two shows.....not sure how true THAT is, since I see people guest star on other shows all the time. The girl who plays Maggie on The Walking Dead was just in the latest SVU episode. I don't think Katherine will be on The Originals, but only because that would be A LOT of work for Nina. Maybe she meant Nina can't be on both shows full-time or as a regular. Because she did mention that for crossovers the actors had to renegotiate contracts and stuff, which means it's possible to guest star. |

Contracts are for actors starring on a show full-time. You can be the main star of a television show but make a couple guest appearances on other shows if your schedule gives you free time for other work. Crossover episodes have already been brought up by Julie so we'll definitely see Nina and and some of the other actors appear on the spin-off in some kind of capacity, but that will probably be something that happens only occasionally. They won't be able to have the TVD leads popping up on The Originals too often because that would be too much work for Nina, Ian, and Paul. |

The promo GUYS!!! Would have missed it had I gone to bed early.
*breathless* It was stunning! Gah...I just want it NOWWW! Sophie and Marcel...no words. He hugged Klaus. He ACTUALLY hugged Klaus. I'm crying!!! And Rebekah is looking like herself again. Yay!!! Camille is amazing, okay?
Loved everybody else...that guy - the one who gives the intro "and the dead Stick around to play.." and even that girl with the eye-tattoo or makeup.

I think I was the only only who didn't like it? :s I expected more, no some sort jealous 5 year/old Klaus that liked Marcel's toys and wants them, I mean the hability of Julie Plec to make the main character so unlikable is unique and I'm scared already. At first I like how they presented it, the music, color, not to mention how good JM looks, but then I started analyzing, and nope, so far I feel uneasy... there's really very few people on tumblr that agree with me, so I guess it so far it's been well recieved

Just the whole thing blew me away. I loved every bit of it. And yes, WHO is that girl with the eye makeup who was checking out Klaus?! It's about time girls are obviously attracted to him right from the get-go. I hope he gets his flirt on. laurilu, I get where you're coming from, but jealous petty Klaus is a side of him! And it's not really something that Marcel has. Klaus built that city and was then forced to flee when Mikael caught up with him. But Mikael is gone now and he's finally in a position where he CAN have those things again. So I understand Klaus being like "I made this what it is, I want it back". And it sort of sounds like Elijah agrees with him! I can't wait to see Klaus fighting for something again. Remember how ruthless he was about trying to make the hybrids, how vulnerable he was when it wasn't working? That's when he character started getting layer, so I can't wait to see that side again. Ahhh, hold me! I've watched that promo so many times, you guys have no idea. I need it to have HIGH ratings. |

All I have to say is, I'm ready to be hooked to my TV in the fall! It looks so good and I'm just so tired of the TVD drama, I'm excited to see something fresh. Plus, you can't lose with the Originals. They're the best thing that happened to TVD!

Guys! Do you realize that when we will have crossovers, either the Originals will visit MF or the gang has to reach them in NO. The latter is more likely. We are going to see them enter the underground NO, with their hands linked and shooting nervous looks everywhere! And Stefan will be in charge, "Ok Listen up guys. Whatever you do, DON'T let go of each other and keep count of us at all times okay? No, Damon! Not your human a**!! Just get back in the car and wait for us, will you?!"  They are so going to get lost, mugged and laughed at for their hair and innocence...just their small town peasantry!!! bwahaha!! Seriously all the joking aside, these guys should be on the Wanted list since several vampires of Kol's bloodline must have suddenly dropped dead one random night in New Orleans. I badly want a scene with Klaus, Marcel and Stefan. Ah...Can you imagine the awesomeness? |
