These are two really wonderful movies and I think that they have lots of Klaroline parallels to explore. This one was tweeted by @josephmorgan I really like this one and it uses Angela Lansbury's version of the song.

Aww, I love the Beauty and The Beast parallels! Thank you for the amazing gifs, Dani! I swear that the writers have written some of the Klaroline scenes with this classic story in mind. Today I watched Beastly and I love it! I know that it isn't animated but it is a modern retelling of the Beauty and The Beast story so I went ahead and lumped into this theme included anyway. It really parallels Klaroline too. Here is a link for the official website: beastlythemovie.com/Kyler is vain and selfish (sounds like Klaus) and he ends having a curse put upon him. In order to break it, he has to hear the words "I Love You" and there is a deadline. The witch curse on Klaus was really the mirror opposite of the Beast's curse. Klaus wants to break the curse placed on him so he can become the "Beast" while the Beast in the Beauty and Beast story wants to stop looking like a Beast. And the key to breaking the curses are polar opposites too - Klaus's involves committing murders while the Beast's requires him to earn the love of another. I love how Kyler [aka the Beast] in the Beastly movie tries to woo Lindy [aka Belle] with all sorts of expensive gifts and leaves them at her door, totally taking a page from Klaus. And when they don't work he is encouraged to think about HER, what she would like rather than what he think would impress her. Later, as the story line progresses they share stories with one another and learn about each other's interests. I think that is the same lessons we see Klaus learning when it comes to Caroline. He tried to impress her with the bracelet and it didn't work. So then he drew her a picture which focused on her. And I think that is why Klaus told Caroline that he wanted to talk about her and get her to "know" him. Plus, Klaus made a point of telling Caroline that he wanted to know her hopes and dreams, everything she wants from life. He wants some details so he can make a connection with her.

Lindy wonders where the romance has gone from courtship and I think that Caroline is missing that in her life. Tyler tried with the birthday bracelet but Klaus has really gone out of way to romance Caroline just as Kyler does for Lindy.

I have and love both of these movies. And I love the videos you put up!! I definitely agree. Caroline never really got to have romantic moments with her past boyfriends!! But with Klaus he treats her like royalty!!! I wish there was someone out there like Klaus who would treat me like that!!
