LET'S MAKE A DEAL - Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) try a brutal new approach to provoke Elena (Nina Dobrev) into turning her humanity back on, and Caroline (Candice Accola) is frustrated when her attempt to intervene backfires. When Elena figures out a way to call the Salvatore brothers' bluff, they call for backup from a surprising source. Matt (Zach Roerig) gives Rebekah (Claire Holt) some unsolicited advice on her life choices, and she tries to help him in return. Caroline has a confusing and dangerous encounter with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) is suspicious when Bonnie (Kat Graham) makes her an offer that she promises will benefit them both. Darnell Martin directed the episode written by Michael Narducci & Rebecca Sonnenshine (#421)

"Confusing and dangerous encounter..." I've seen all the theories on Tumblr, ranging from Silas taking Klaus' form to Klaus actually forcing Caroline to admit her feelings for him. Either way, it better be hot, hot, hot! I don't know why but I picture the situation taking place outside, the whole "encounter" thing sounds like they're going to run into each other somewhere.
I especially loved Mandy's Tumblr post about it sounding like a hot make out session between the two

Idk. ahhhh him making her confront her feelings sounds HOT enough though hope there's a screencap...

I'm still banking on this being the scene where Klaus forces Caroline to confront her feelings. It would also make sense if Silas took the form of Klaus, though. That'd mean he got into her head and KLAUS in is there. Another reason why I don't want Tyler to be Silas. He uses their weaknesses against them and the only way I'd be ok with it being "Tylas" was if he kept on and on about how she was betraying "him" because she has feelings for Klaus.

It'd make sense since Jomo has talked about it recently BUT I'd love it if Caroline was thinking of Klaus and thats how Silas took advantage. But poor Caroline...she'd be shaken up I trust Rebecca's writing when it comes to KC so i have no worries Im kinda banking on the forcing of feelings scene AND the Klaus!Silas scene. So yeah...50/50.

I'm still leaning towards Silas!Klaus at the moment. May change my mind later though. Tbh, Rebekah Sonnenshine hasn't written any Klaroline after that glorious 3x11 scene (which was indeed some phenomenal writing), so I don't have any particular feelings about her involvement in the episode...Her writing has never really been KC-heavy like e.g. Dries' writing. But 4x04 and 4x12 >>> anything Narducci has written this year (IMO), so let's hope this will end up looking more like a Sonnenshine episode than a Narducci episode.

Yeah, not that impressed by some of Narducci's episodes. 4x02 was just annoying. Plus, TC fans are always happy when he writes an episode, so there's that.

LOL I just couldnt help but get all gung ho about it though ahahha and MAYBE we get the best of both worlds and Silas!Klaus taunts Caroline into admitting her feelings? No? Ok. OR Silas tortures her into seeing that STEFANIA and KLAUS marriage EEEK IM EXCITED EITHER WAY

Mandy, I think that's Jose Molina you're talking about. Michael Narducci wrote 4x16, which was terrible all around IMO, and a few other unmemorable episodes (4x05 and 4x11, I think). Are TC fans really happy with Molina's writing for them? Or did you mean Narducci?

Molina wrote: - 4x02 with the infamous "Grief sex" quote, which was a low point for Forwood IMO.
- 4x14 where Tyler was clearly used as a prop for Klaroline.
- And 4x18, no further comments needed.
I suppose Forwood fans get easily satisfied...good for them. (I'm not being sarcastic, I wish I was easy to satisfy too)

Yeah, I meant Molina. The TC fans LOVE 4x02. I thought it pretty much defined Forwood in that scene (negatively) , but they are all about that episode. I guess Molina DOES like to put the word "Tyler" in the script. Speaking of which, you guys! 4x20 should be the first episode where that word will not be uttered since 4x12! Finally!
