Hmm, I wonder who would be in NYC??? I wish we knew for sure which episode they were filming. Not knowing if the Klefaroline and Klaroline scenes are both in 4x16 or stretched between two episodes is driving me crazy!

Oh, I also spent some time on Nate's twitter this morning and he did a quick Q&A and was answering questions - his favorite TVD co-star to act with his JoMo (creys) - His favorite Kol scene to shoot was the freezer scene between him, damon, and jeremy - Kol calling Damon darling multiple times was never in the script. Nate added it in there.  - He said he would love to be on The Originals and he'd have to see if it was in the cards - He then later said that only Julie had the answer if we'd see kol again -And then LATER said that it was up to the fans whether we saw kol again (NATE?! What's with the multiple answers to the same question? - He said he is doing auditions right now and would love to someday play an american. So who knows what's going on. Sometimes I think he knows if he's coming back or not and other times I think he has no idea and just wants everyone to make a big fuss so he can. Whahh. Someone hold me. |

He came back to work a little later than ian, nina, candice, etc which probably means they finished up episode 15 after the holiday break. So now i'm starting to think 4x17, maybe? |

Yes, Im like 99.9% sure the KSC and KC are in 4x17 together... and to film an episode? I think it takes like 10-15 days? or is that too much? LOL About ep 16 though, maybe some actors had to come later to film their scenes perhaps? and thats why it took so long to shoot? |

It usually takes about 10 days to film an episode. Of course, things can always change depending on the situation...I think 4x14 took longer than that, but Nina was apparently really sick at the time so it makes sense that filming went slower than usual. On December, Julie confirmed on twitter that they had started filming 4x15 before the break but would come back to finish it in 2013. You're probably right about this being the reason JM went back to work later than others.  Michael Narducci (who co-wrote 4x16) spent the week from 01/14 to 01/20 in Atlanta. Between that+Joseph's tweets, I think they were definitely on 4x16 that week. So, unless something really unexpected happened, chances are that 4x16 was done by 01/27. And Candice posted both pics the following week...I'm 99% sure they're both from 4x17. As for Nate's tweets, his answers (about Julie, the fans e.t.c.) give me the feeling that he desperately wants to reprise his role, but doesn't really know what will happen (sorry I'm not more positive ). It is known that the TVD fandom can influence Julie's desicions (you know, how characters who should have died a year ago end up with their own show ) and Nate has been talking about the fans and promoting tweetitions for some time now. And did he say he's doing auditions now? That sort of certifies that they haven't approached him to offer a regular spot in the spin-off. Emphasis on 'regular', don't freak out yet Mandy.

( I am obviously talking about Carina, not Donna ) So there are no plans currently for Kol to come back...I say there's still room for Julie Plec to change her mind if fans are vocal enough. I'm not getting too hopeful though. Also, I like Lexi just fine, and I know she is a well-liked character, but she's not that well-liked. So instead of constantly bringing Lexi back, they could try to bring back other people. Like Elijah. Or Katherine. OR FREAKING KOL, you know? Another visit from Lexi isn't making me any excited right now, sorry.

Ughhhhh. I was afraid of that. He'll be in a lot of the flashback episodes, I'm sure, but it will only make those appearances bitter sweet. And no, carina. Having a character who Elena is close to say goodbye before the next hiatus is GOOD news because I need to see suffering! (sorry, my heart needs this in order to heal..lol) |

Just about everyone interested in the spin-off wants Kol to be a main character too. I've even seen some people say they might not even watch it now that Kol is dead. |

Just about everyone interested in the spin-off wants Kol to be a main character too. I've even seen some people say they might not even watch it now that Kol is dead. I agree with you on both points. Lexi seemed such a FUN character when she was first introduced. Talking about going to see a concert with Stefan; playing pool. The last 2 flashbacks with her irritated me. She was almost cruel when trying to detox him in Ghost World. In the 40s flashback, she was so rigid. Sending a ripper into a warzone where he would be surrounded by blood when he'd only been reformed a few decades wasn't the greatest idea. A few decades is nothing in vampire time. And she mentioned something about him doing repentance by serving in the war. I don't think he even asked to be a vampire. Wasn't Katherine sneaking him her blood? But being around his own brother was a bad thing? When I was a little down on the spin-off because of Klaroline, one of the things that made me feel better would learning more about Kol. Why Klaus was so scared of him. The sibling dynamics between Kol and the others. JoMo and Nate kid around on Twitter about being Vamp Cops. I'd like to see them doing some sleuthing about supernatural things. Edited to say: I've never had a family member with an addiction and maybe you have to be hardcore, but Lexi seemed to take it to the extreme. |
