mmmm...I thought from the way CA worded Caroline being suspicious for more than one episode. Maybe I read it wrong. Well Tyler invites Hayley to the pageant. but i wanna see who agrees with this: tyler will probably ask care to be klaus' date and she'll end up getting caught up with him. hence that close proximity pic.
I may be wrong and care gets annoyed at the fact that tyler takes hayley any thoughts ?  |

I hope this plan backfires big time! As in Caroline actually develops a deep attraction towards Klaus and Tyler is left with the hybrids and Klaus is like, "keep them, I got her  " ugh Tyler's [censored]ing me off you guys. I can't. |

What I found really odd was Damon's reaction. Normally he has no problem throwing it in Stefan's face that he will always protect Elena and loves her. So why did he use the brotherly love card? I would think that Damon would be even more willing to go after this cure for Elena given how he misses his own humanity and how much Elena doesn't want to be a vampire (and is really struggling with it.)

Okay. Stefan, really. You had me on a roller coaster tonight. I love Team Klaus Stefan, taking down big bro to do what he's gotta do in the name of Klaus. But when he told Damon about the cure, I got [censored]ed. And I'm sure Klaus will take care of that for me later, but MAN! Can't he have a single secret, Damon? Stupid big brothers always taking advantage.  And then it just goes even more downhill with his stupid obsession with helping Elena get her life back. Dude, she's enjoying being a Damon type of vampire, so let the girl enjoy! The only reason he wants to find the cure and thinks that she isn't supposed to be the person she's becoming is because HE doesn't like how HE feels with her being a vampire. He can't hold it together and be vampy with her and he hates it. Bro, projection much? Stefan's in the dog house this week.  Nextly. The hostage situation - Not liking the Matt/April dynamic but April is adorable. She grew on me this episode, especially by the end when Matt told her how good the bracelet looked on her and she was all giddy. And her looking for Rebekah made me happy. I really just want Rebekah to have a friend. Um, Jeremy being a hunter's apprentice though? Not so cool. And now, of course, he's got the tattoo growing. So what next, he's going to have to go on a vamp killing spree so Klaus can decipher the map that appears on him? Okay, that's actually kind of cool, but just better be careful which vamps he takes down! Honorable mentions: CONNOR! R.I.P.  I shall forever miss Todd the Bod, as I affectionately call him. He was a BAMF hunter but I suppose he was going to go eventually. (They can't all be Alarics, which btw, miss that guy so so much. I would have loved to hear his take on Connor and Jeremy's hunter lineage (apparently!) and Elena being a vampire.) Also, R.I.P. Dean. We barely knew ye! No, really. Barely. But still, a hybrid loss wears on my heart. For Klaus' sake. But he was kind of dumb anyway... Meh. Tayley. Tayley, Tayley, Tayley. Hm....  (Jury's still out with this ship. But the fanfiction wheels in my head keep trying to turn!) Okay. Well. Tyler's BS answer about trying to save all the hybrids and letting Klaus think what he wants for that sake is just that - BS. Tsk to the writer's for this whole "Let's make them think something happened and then just cop it out to them trying to throw Klaus off the scent". Then again, this is Tyler we're talking about. And as much as I love my boy, he's not the sharpest stake in the shed. Still going to sit tight and wait for more explanation with Hayley. Pretty sure there's more than it seems, considering the touchy feely going on there. Caroline's attitude toward it all, btw, was awesome. [censored]y girl power FTW. (Also just want to laugh at the fact that the whole trying to help hybrids break their bonds arc made me squee a little because I started writing that two weeks ago. I swear I write this show and don't even know it. Maybe they're compelling me after taking my ideas!  ) Oh. One last thing. Klaus: "How did you put it? Oh, yes. You are my [censored]." I'm now pregnant with Klaus babies. |

They do give Klaus the best lines! Too bad we didn't see Klaus deliver it right in front of Tyler rather than just on the phone.

This episode was ok for me. I think it's hilarious they had Klaus do all his stuff for the episode on the phone...lol. The one thing I said was going to look dumb. I guess they had to show Klaus actually finding the sword. And now we know what they'll do with Jeremy. make him kill vampires so that his tattoo will grow and then they can find the cure The Tyler thing. Seriously, what?! Why does him wanting to free all the hybrids have ANYTHING to do with pretending to date Hayley? I don't get it. I'll talk about what I think this means for the MMF pageant in the Klaroline thread, but Tyler was a grade A douche tonight. Walking away when he got [censored]y with Klaus and just leaving Caroline standing there? Comforting Hayley and then jumping away guiltily when Caroline found them. How is this guy better than Klaus when we are talking about how they both treat Caroline? |

Oh man, how did I forget to talk about my second favorite, Stefan? LOVED me some Stefan tonight. He's at his best when he's working with Klaus. I loved the whole thing. I wish Damon hadn't been let in on it quite so soon but oh well.
When Elena and Damon realized that Stefan had taken his ring, I was like "how is it that Stefan is suddenly even hotter and he's not even in the scene!" ;D
