I just got yelled at for taking my hospital equipment to my storage area at 0400 in the morning, from someone who was trying to wax the floors. He treated me like I was stupid for messing up his floors, but the truth was I had just got done with a 16 hr shift at the hospital, so I couldn't think straight, or an alternative route in mind. Once he calmed down he tried to explain it, and I didn't get where he wanted me to go. I eventually figured it out, and I had to take a big detour when I hauled the rest of the equipment away, and I just wanted to get out there and drive home while I would't fall asleep. Thanks.

16 hours? That's a long shift. I've heard of nursing homes and hospitals doing 12 hour shifts.
LOL at your status. I trained my oldest before 3. I waited until my youngest was a little over 3. I was nervous because I'd read potty training kids are more likely to get UTIs because they hold it in and they inevitably wipe the wrong way. If she got a UTI, I was sure they'd want to do surgery since she had kidney reflux.

Yes, 16 hours is long. I pick up call every once in awhile and sometimes have to work longer than 12. Ugh. On vacation for 9 days off, it has been wonderful. Of course TVD is not on when I am off and rested!
My baby just turned 3, and she is so stubborn. She wants to stay my baby, and all the pretty underwear, enticement of preschool and preschool soccer, are not big enough motives for her to potty train. Luckily my mom gave it a whirl and confirmed she is stubborn, and it s not just me. Just ready to be done with diapers after 7 years! My other two were late bloomers also, but not like this.

I've not had a lot of potty training woes, thank goodness. My daughter was like 28mo when she trained, which was nice. My middle child (who turned 3 last September) took a few months after his 3rd birthday, but it was more just waiting until he was interested and then I didn't have to do much. But before that, yeah, there was no inciting him either. He's get this serious look on his face and he'd say "no underwear. Only diapers". Haha! My youngest is only 9mo so I have a couple more years of diapers ahead of me. I'm getting close to 7 years of buying them as well!

My teeth have started to move a bit! It's mostly my incisors. The top ones have moved away from each other (0.5mm) and slightly outwards and the bottom ones are moving together and one of them has leaned sideways into the right canine. My wisdom teeth haven't come out yet (I'm 22) and I don't have any odd clenching, grinding or tongue-thrusting habits. I've heard that it could be due to the jaws growing. If that's the case, then they can PLEASE stop right now! Not looking forward to see the other teeth space out and lean whichever way they want to. The appointment with the dentist is next week and hopefully, my dental insurance won't fall short of covering the expenses for whatever treatment will be needed. Did anyone have braces as a kid? I didn't. The funny thing is that I had crooked teeth as a kid (they all do!) but everyone kept going on about how hideous they looked and eventually I just turned a deaf ear to them. Then in IX grade, my friends at the new school started complimenting on my "perfectly straight and sparkling white" teeth one day I thought they were joking but even so, I couldn't wait to get to a mirror and when I finally got to examine my teeth for myself, I was like, "OMG! They were right!!! When did THIS happen?" LOL Well, You can imagine...I got a lot of 'this girl is being weird again' stares at home that day.

No, I never had braces. I've also never had my wisdom teeth taken out or any problems with them. Neither has my husband. I've heard it is genetic, don't know if it's true. But my father has never had a problem. My mother got all of her teeth taken out for a full set of dentures at age 40.
