Wasn't she saying before that the last 10 minutes would be the worst? Now it's 10 seconds.

Hmmm...The surprise return was Katherine. Was Bonnie dead too? Will Katherine get hallucinations from killing Jeremy? Technically it was Silas.

Wonder what will happen to Katherine if she takes the cure. Side effects like reverting to actual age? Or is she planning on cramming it down Klaus throat. Uhhh....just had bad thought I'll take up to general spoiler thread.

Did anyone else feel bad for Jeremy? I know most of us here thought Elena or Jeremy needed to pay for Kol's death, but still I couldn't help feeling bad for the poor kid. I feel like most of the bad things that have happened to Jeremy recently are his sister's fault because lets face it, they wouldn't have even gone this far to get the cure if Elena didn't want it. And geez how [censored]ed up do you think Bonnie is going to be now? She just witnessed her ex-boyfriend's death and couldn't do anything to help him. I think this is going to cause her and Elena to embrace the darker sides of themselves.

I think I need to adjust the brightness on my TV during TVD. I have problems seeing sometimes. Especially when they are in a giant "Rabbit hole". Who's been cast to play Silas BTW?

One thing that /really/ annoyed me: there is a reason everything was set up so that Silas was supposed to die. But as per usual, everyone ignores that and just decides to do whatever they want. Gah! Sometimes there's a bigger picture. Kol had it right! If he was alive Silas would be dead. Oh Kol. As for everything else, it happened exactly as we planned really. Well, all the major points. Tyler leave, Jeremy dies. Granted, the whole Katherine bit threw me a touch, wasn't expecting her... Forwood - Was it bad that I laughed? Teenage love. Klaroline - Thing are progressing aren't they! And it doesn't feel rushed. Klaus admitting those things would be in character seeing how he's had nothing to do but think the last couple days. And he pretty much admitted that he DOES have feeling beyond crush!! I think the whole "L" word spurred that one on. But it also seemed like Caroline realized finally what it means for him to do something that Klaus normally wouldn't do. Now we're not going to see them for 4 weeks. Fabulous. -.- Oh let the theories run!

I think I need to adjust the brightness on my TV during TVD. I have problems seeing sometimes. Especially when they are in a giant "Rabbit hole". Who's been cast to play Silas BTW? No one! Makes me wonder if Silas won't inhabit Shane's body or something (sorry, my David Alpay crush can not be contained. Donna has me tweeting him now) Yeah, I didn't really get Forwood feels. I think I've just hardened myself to that couple so much I simply can't feel anything toward them. I did like the ending, though, especially after {Spoiler}news that Trevino is actually gone came out . They felt much more final, like they realized this was probably it. Klaus can't die or they all die, they all know he holds grudges. So, we actually did get an official Forwood break-up. It's weird! I don't know what to think! Klaus - stay perfect. He did what JoMo promised. He compromised. He didn't just let Tyler get away scott free, but he did give him a head start and the knowledge to always look over his shoulder. I think that's the best he could do, and honestly, I'm glad. This is Klaus, after all FINALLY someone asked Caroline what she wanted regarding the cure. And the fact he knew she didn't want it and WHY she didn't want it...sigh. OTP baby. With that last Klaroline scene, I feel like his "you know i'd never hurt you line" was him saying "yeah, it's not happening again". I did wonder about his expression at the end. He looked disappointed, like he expected more maybe? Aww, I think my baby Klaus was just really proud of himself for what he did FOR HER and when she didn't give him any credit he was kind of like "well, fine then". Sigh. luvs him. Vaugn. Um yes. Please just stay for all eternity. That voice, man. Makes me weak in the knees. Dude knows what he's doing. I felt like the writers tried to make the whole "Kill Kol" thing more ok by having Vaughn say he'd been killing vampires for years and had never completed the mark. But nope. Sorry. I am like Klaus and I hold a grudge. Which brings me to Jeremy.....eh. We'd pretty much called it. And the fact we have BTS pics of Steven filming sort of takes away the sadness a bit. I was more shocked at katherine! I don't think she's staying around for very long (and definitely no Klaus/Kat hook-up). All in all, I enjoyed it.

Do I have a heart of stone? I'm not moved by Forwood. Throughout the whole scene I kept thinking "please be over soon". So let's share the Lady Stoneheart title. I wasn't that affected by Jeremy's death because we had all predicted it already (and because I'm still numb after Kol). The Katherine reveal was nice though (and I assume that was the shocking return Ausiello was talking about after all ). It was great to see how much Klaus actually gets Caroline, it was great seeing someone care about her thoughts on the cure, it was great seeing the much talked about compromise (although, my delusional baby, did he really think she'd jump into his arms? ). And one last thing that is perhaps minor, but it has meaning for me: I liked that the episode didn't close the storyline with the big forwood goodbye (which would be a fitting ending scene), but it went back to klaroline for the finale. I like that in the end the focus shifted to them. Klaroline is coming.
