Discuss Bonnie in this thread. REMINDER: Please do not post spoilers in this thread unless you use spoiler tags. To me Bonnie not having a big love interest doesn't mean she's unimportant. Quite the opposite. She's important enough to have her own story. She's a power player on this show.

I don't get the drama. To me Bonnie not having a big love interest doesn't mean she's unimportant. Quite the opposite. She's important enough to have her own story. She's a power player on this show. She's definitely the most powerful person amongst her friends, hell some might say she's also more powerful than the Originals, but most of her storylines are purely about her being a witch. That doesn't bother me much since I'm not a Bonnie fan, but as someone who is not a fan of TVD's witches I do get a little annoyed how the main characters can pretty much always go to Bonnie who has the ability to fix practically any problem with her magic. The show hasn't done a very good job of explaining the extent of Bonnie's powers and what she can or can't do.

The show hasn't done a very good job of explaining the extent of Bonnie's powers and what she can or can't do. I agree with the mixed messages considering Bonnie's abilities. One minute is psychic and then in the next, she is a witch. I wish they would allow us to see a bit more of her and learn more about her outside of what she can do for others magically.

Or maybe that was Esther whispering in her mind. Alright, we know they just dropped that storyline. I like that Bonnie isn't defined by her romances the way girls usually are. That's a sign for power. Even when Jeremy basically cheated on her she came out strong (while he looked like an ass). Few witches on this show beat Bonnie in terms of power and intelligence. Last season she held everyone's fate in her hands. What's happening to Bonnie was already hinted at in Season 2. She said herself that she wasn't born with this power to float feathers.[r:horrible typo]

Im iffy about Bonnie tbh, but I will admit I felt terribly sorry for her and grams I know Bonnie has the capasity to be strong (mentally) but she really needs to go through with her "Im done being pushed around by you guys" plan.

Bonnie is so powerful and am so glad that she doesn't feel as though she has to have a guy on her arm to complete her. She is the rock that her friends lean on and my heart broke for her when her Grams died. For as someone as young as she is, I amazed how she hasn't let it all go to her head and has embraced who she is. True about the feather although you have to admit, it was totally awesome all the same!
