Okay, of course Klaroline is my preferred couple, and then I like the possibility of Steroline, Maroline, and then Forwood. Just my preference. I am going to throw this out there - does anyone think that they are teasing Steroline because there have been so many upset with the main triangle - Stefan/Elena/Damon, that maybe it is an experiment of putting Stefan in another triangle, Stefan/Caroline/Klaus? I hear a lot about being upset about the main triangle just .....dragging and flip-flopping, and then going nowhere with one couple, and then speeding ahead with another, etc... Also, before the Originals came in to play - didn't PW tease that he'd like Stefan to end up with Caroline if he doesn't get Elena? And wouldn't this be the reason that they are not confirming MT for next season, because they are "trying" out Stefan and Caroline as potential love interests for season 5? I mean, I know the Originals is going into production, but if there S/C/K was a triangle, would there be more cross-overs next season? Don't shoot the messenger, just throwing it out there. Also, who thinks it is weird that they dropped Stebekah pretty darn flat, and then moved on to a possible Mabekah? Anyone think Silas is going to interact with April? Not currently a Stelena or Delena fan. I am kind of a Melena fan at the moment, she would have stayed human I think. Team Rebekah + happiness Team Elijah + him in his bad-ass/yet sensitive character Team Klaus + happiness with a sprinkle of crazy. I'd love to see him with Caroline, but I am going to be on bandwagon that they need to build a friendship first. She jumped in with Damon, and it seems like she is trying hard not to repeat history. It seemed like she took it slow with Matt, fought against getting together with Tyler, etc... Loved this! But like Mandy said, it will be unbearable to have Klaus watching his two beloveds together. I JUST CAN'T. He wouldn't like it, I'm sure but I also think that he would partly approve. I'd rather have Steroline the way it is right now but if they insist on taking them there romantically, then it'd be better if they don't write any serious love-interest stuff for them. As I already mentioned somewhere before, they're the kind of the couple that would be awesome 3-5 years later but I do believe that if done right, Steroline would be like a breath of fresh air for the show next year. The main love triangle has gotten stale and even if Damon turns human, there needs to be a serious change in the dynamics. I hope the writers realize that they didn't do much in the character development department this season and maybe they'll correct this in S5 by focusing on the individual characters...like they seriously need to brainstorm especially hard for Damon and Elena. Plus these characters are going to college next year, I fully expect them to look and feel different or atleast be on that path. As for Caroline and Stefan, I do believe (again, if done right) that it'd mean some unprecedented character growth for Caroline. Stefan is not Klaus but he is older than her, darker and Stefan is infact totally himself when he's with Caroline, which is always nice to see. Maybe she can stop hero-worshipping him and understand where he comes from. Real friendships can go there romantically and return, without any awkwardness. I don't know what this will do to Klaroline and Klefan...it all depends on how serious Steroline will be. The less serious it is, the better. FOR EVERYONE. It can be something short-lived but meaningful all the same. Then Stefan can go back to Elena. Caroline has grown up a bit and Klaus comes back into the picture. Klefaroline, guys. But I'd hate Steroline and EVERYTHING about it if it follows Forwood right away (if Tyler returns next season and if they drag Forwood out again..please don't make us hate everything!!! It already feels like that lol) I can't believe what I wrote but there it is, I'm not super against Steroline but man, haven't we Klaroline folks waited enough, now we'd have to wait for them to get over. Not happy about that but in the mean time, we can enjoy whatever goes on with Klaus in the spin-off.  People shouldn't be quick to assume that Klaus falling for a human girl...(a cliched character for sure but still) makes him OOC or something. This is Klaus we're talking about. He loves Rebekah, possibly the only person he feels close to and yet he continually hurts her and sabotages his relationship with her. Stefan, with whom he felt real moments of brotherhood and companionship and is IN LOVE with him...well that didn't stop him from terrorizing his town and killing his girlfriend. Poor guy must have thought that the moment Stefan remembers him, he'd forget all about Elena!! And then we have Caroline and all the things he couldn't help doing and HAD TO DO in her case. Sigh. This Camille doesn't stand a chance guys! LOL Klaus is going to make her life so so miserable, just you wait. I feel like people always forget that Klaus likes his witches, protegees and wingmen...and seems to have a personal connection/relationship with all of them. He IS affected by them just as they are by him, we've just never seen that. "Klamille" is just going to be that, especially since Klaroline is not going anywhere. |

just a theory :
I thought about something there is no spoiler on tyler nor on the forwood and the scenarists have wanted to hide us klaroline's scenes
worst klaus' nightmare is the white oak, Silas used it to inflict false pain to klaus
worst tyler's nightmare is, moreover klaus wants to kill him
Silas asked the cure to klaus but he can't give it to him !
Silas will want to reach klaus and I think he knows what klaus feels to caroline
he will use Klaus' appearance and will kill tyler !
caroline will think that it's the true klaus who killed him and that's why caroline Caroline has a confusing and dangerous encounter with Klaus

Tyler's not dying in this episode. JUlie said in an interview today that Tyler's fate for next season will be answered in the finale by what Klaus decides.

Tyler’s gone, there’s a mishap with her dress, there are things that happen that frustrate her, she’s on the outs with her best friend, Bonnie’s acting weirdly. I think there’s a line somewhere in the episode where Caroline goes, “This prom sucks.” And she gets a nice moment when all is said and done; she gets to experience the perfect prom moment, but it’s short-lived and definitely will get people talking.” JP Interview with GiveMeMyRemote
This makes me think they won't be dancing at prom, instead he'll probably show up at her house or be waiting for her when she gets there after prom. Ugh. It does say it will get people talking... in a good way or a bad way? I wonder if that's semi-good news for us. Especially after that girl Clarissa from TVOvermind didn't answer the question about whether KC would have a scene after the prom was over. I feel like there will be a Klaus mention there.

Yeah, I think Carina has hinted a time or two that the TC dance is not at prom. He'll be at her house or she'll be lame and go hang out at the Lockwood Mansion and he'll be there. I do wonder at the "will definitely get people talking". About how much we puked? I keep getting little vibes of Silas!Tyler, but then Robyn probably wouldn't have said Forwood fans would love the episode. I do think there's going to be SOME sort of twist to this thing. It can't be so cut and dry as him showing up, dancing, being mushy and gross, and then leaving again can it? I also think maybe Caroline goes to Klaus' to say thank you and will find him already gone. Ughhhh, I just can't believe KLAUS of all people isn't going to get the girl. DOES NO ONE NOTICE THE DIMPLES?! |

I get teary eyed at the thought of Klaus admitting defeat to stupid lockwood and he's probably gonna be all c()cky and UGHHHHHH SOMEONE KILL HIM [censored] IT. My ONLY hope that im holding onto (with two fingers) is caroline is so touched that she just runs to N.O after thinking about how selfless he was. UGHH IN MY DREAMS THOUGH  Im gonna cry buckets during their goodbye lol i just KNOW IT. dont shoot me but im being so stubborn right now i cant even think about KC just being with other people, whether they're heart broken or happy. UGHHH |

I get that JP wants to write new stuff and Steroline may look more grown-up and 'realistically adult' type of thing and it will definitely do the story good with its unique tone and feel because as of lately the story-writing has been heavily influenced by shipping and for shipping purposes BUT you've already destroyed the narrative and credibility of the other romantic storylines. It's not that easy to overlook the mess it's made. I don't know, sometimes I think Steroline will be great for both the characters and other times, I don't, especially if Forwood is also supposed to return next season. |

I think she may have just thrown out Steroline being a "possibility" to see what kind of feedback she'd receive about this pairing. Before season 4 started Julie talked about Matt and Caroline rekindling their romance in the future and nothing has happened there. She was probably just trying to let Steroline fans know that she's aware this ship exists. |
