I checked twitter after the episode and JP was online during the episode and even responded to a few tweets that were mad about Klaus/Hayley. The ones I remember where one saying "Why Julie? You broke my Klaroline heart" answer: Sorry. And she retweeted one in another language that was in all caps, but had the word Klaroline in it. She said "I don't know what this says, but I think they are very angry. I'm sure they do check into social media. Remember after one live tweeting during TVD session, TVD got press as being the #1 show in social media. Lady J: You forgot Caroline in your shirtless count. When Tyler was trying to convince her into "grief sex". And Stefan (sex with Elena and Rebekah). Damon's shirtless count should be higher. I think it's in his contract to be that way at least every other episode.  With Tyler gone, who will keep up the shirtless ratio? |

Hopefully Klaus. I mean, we don't see him shirtless since, what, the end of season two, and now all of a sudden we get him shirtless in 4x16, and in 4x18? I think he should just spend the remainder of his time on the show half-naked. That seems absolutely necessary to me.

I think Klaus spending the remaining episodes shirtless would go along way in healing some bruised hearts right now. Plec, listen to the masses! Precious JoMo has been away from Twitter for few days. I hope everyone left him alone. He DID warn us, which just proves right there how much understands his fans. Not that his fans ONLY consist of Klaroline shippers or anything, but he gets it's a big part. |

You are right, I did forget Caroline, and then there was that backless number she wore in episode 6. Yes, with Tyler and Jeremy gone - who is going to keep up the count? Damon can't be shirtless all the time. I suppose I should count Hayley too because she was in her bra. Couldn't wardrobe picked out a prettier one for her though? Something like black... So we will see that Hayley is attracted to power in the coming weeks is my guess. She went after Tyler because he was strong enough to break the hybrid sire bond and, as Caroline said, is a natural leader. I think she hooked up with Klaus because he is mighty and powerful (although OOC) and that if we see anything between her and Marcel, it is because Marcel is powerful in his own right. |

Also, am I the only one who doesn't see any sexual tension in Steroline? I adore their friendship and their chemistry is wonderful, but I'm seeing posts about how you can cut the sexual tension with a knife and I'm here thinking...WOT.  Steroline sexual tension: LOLOLOLOL! wait... LOLOLOLOLOLOL! okay.. I think I'm done. I don't see it either, tbh. I love their friendship and how Julie said Caroline would be Stefan's Lexi but I just can't picture them being anything more than friends. I don't know why I'm so opposed to it. It doesn't even have to do with Klaus and Klaroline because I was completely against Steroline since S2, before Klaus appeared on the show. There's just something about Caroline taking Elena's sloppy seconds and then Elena wanting Stefan later on (because we all know this will happen). We haven't seen Stefan be interested in anyone else but Elena, she will always be his #1 and I just don't want Caroline to be with a guy who since the beginning didn't want her. This scenario already happened with Matt, then it happened with Tyler. Can't she be someone's #1 from the start? |

I wonder what his face was when he read the script and saw he would be sexing up Hayley. Just like Candice loves her character and the relationship with Tyler (ugh, hate to say it but it's true). Joseph loves the relationship between Klaus and Caroline and has always supported it and fangirled over it in several occasions. He knows what the viewers want and I think this is evident by his lack of tweets after the whole Hayley thing. If he cared for the possibility of that pairing or even wanted people to give it a chance, he would've definitely made a joke or two about the hookup. What did he do instead (before the episode even aired)? He assured us that 4x18 would be a good KC episode and not to miss it. |

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I know Joseph really pushed for a love interest because of what it would do for his character. He loves Klaroline, but I think more because of what he can do with it instead of the actual ship. He'd probably have been fine with anyone. I think if he gets a good love story that's worthy of his character on the spin off, he'll be just as vocal about it as well. However, he DOES love his fans and he understands the couple they want, so I'm sure he was a bit worried how they'd react when he read the script. He did tweet "interesting story line developing " when he read script for 4x16 so I don't think he was like "eww, yucky" but I do think he thought "uh oh, what are people going to think?!" LOL. |

LOL--Yes, I'm sure "eww, yucky" was probably his last thought. Tonkin's acting ability may leave something to be desired, but she is very pretty. I very much doubt Joseph was like, "You mean I gotta' touch her boobs? garbage." Haha
I do think he likes having a love interest simply because of the way it's allowed him to explore a wider range of emotions where his character is concerned, but he also seems to love playing off Candice in general--they have great chemistry together, and that's what really gives it that extra little spark. Also, I'm not entirely convinced he isn't just dying for an excuse to make out with Candice Accola. lol

I was thinking...so obviously I believe Klaus has feelings for Caroline but what I DON'T believe is Hayley liking Tyler. Lmao. she threw him under the bus BIG time...I actually prefer Tyler over her anyday.
