Yes I agree Kat. I don't mind them being friends but it won't exactly be like a foundation. Because there isn't going to be enough time for that unless they're going to showcase this "friendship" during the possible crossovers. LOL IDK, I have a hard time imagining them as friends, you know. They could remain the way they are forever (until they're endgame) and I won't mind.
It's alright if their status has changed a bit to something like friendship (still hard to imagine especially after all those things she told him in 4X13)...like for starters, they REALLY need to respect and understand each other but oh please! I don't want this "friends" thingy to be directly stressed upon by the show. Nobody wants to see them part as "friends"...I want it to be tragic, full of anguish and painful understanding, "we'll meet again one day" etc etc.
And as Tania summed it up perfectly,
"Plus, shouldn't the reasons that make Caroline resist her attraction to Klaus apply to the possibility of friendship too?"
THIS!! It's just going to be lame if they put aside their history and start acting like "friends". They are never going to look at each other like that. They are just going to let each other go or give up or realize that they can't be together and maybe this will be enough to ratify other love interests and such, rather than "friendship".

Why put Klaus down yet? The fact that she asks for Tyler to return doesn't quite go along with what it says in the synopsis for 4x19. Unless Tyler shows up towards the end of 4x19 and even then, it's not his actual return... so how does that work? Unless Klaus is like "okay, but only for one day"... honestly all of this is just so, so dumb. Ugh. Frustrated!!! I'm starting to think that the Caroline in the promo really isn't a hallucination but just her being a big meanie and wanting to make him suffer. I'm still sticking with my theory that she's just lashing out because she's angry at herself and the way she feels about him. Also, just because she brings up the "friends" thing doesn't necessarily mean that's what she wants. I've seriously never seen a character in more denial than Caroline and it's driving me nuts!!! |

I'm finally all caught up with the posts. I'm so much more annoyed now than I was when I first got here LOL. If they really end them on a "friendship" note, I'm going to rage! This isn't what the build up was portraying at all! Seriously? We're supposed to believe that Klaus after all that will be okay with just being friends and Caroline really just wants that and nothing else? I strongly believe she's hiding behind her Tyler "love" to convince herself that she feels nothing for Klaus. Also, about the Caroline Dries tweet. I do think she's talking about Forwood in this case. It sucks but I bet that Caroline will once again remind Klaus that she is "in love" with Tyler and for this reason can't be anything more than just friends with him. At this point, I'm preparing myself to see my bb's feelings get hurt once again. |

@kstew: like I and Tania said before, they won't delve that much into Forwood...Caroline wants to make a deal with Klaus for Tyler but she's not gonna make some speech about it  I'm sure of it. I'm gonna sound like a broken record but tonight is GOOD for KC, not traumatizing. That clip of caroline in the promo is certainly a hallucination; the BTVS reference spoiler from Zap2it mentioned Spike getting tortured by some hallucination in Season 5 of the series. Its totally mirroring Klaus\Silas!!! Banking on it. Also, season 7 of BTVS is gonna parallel Spuffy to Klaroline. That's a good thing. @aeidial: tania does make a good point about that friendship thing...but don't worry about it, I'm sure they'll delve into something deeper; in the future. I'm expecting something bitter sweet and door opening. Sorry for the ramble LOL |

Grrr...Stay away Tyler. The spoiler about someone getting killed was from "Ask Ausiello" and it was a blind item. All he stated was it was a female regular from a one hour long drama. Some of the sites that take spoilers and twist them **cough**Wetpaint**cough suggested it was Caroline. |

Kat, I hope you're right. I hope that later this evening I'm over here fangirling and flailing with all of you. I don't think tyler mentions will make everything crash and burn tonight, you know? in the end, it'll be ok and we'll survive LOL and I highly doubt Caroline would turn to Klaus for help with her ELENA problem the next episode if everything went wrong tonight... I'm gonna trust our captain on this. 4x17 was exceptionally good for KC and he didn't say it was a good ep for them. He DID for 4x18.  I dunno, I'm just not worried anymore. anyone agree? D: I can't fangirl until 11pm EST LOL. I have work soon and then I'm watching the ep with my friends.  |

Someone on Tumblr said that they don't think the "friends" part of that spoiler meant that KC will be just friends. She thinks it means Caroline will bring up her "friends" and Tyler during their conversation. I like the sound of that a lot better and it sounds more plausible. But maybe it's just my shipper heart hoping for it. Buffy did have a problem being with Spike because of her friends, didn't she want to keep it on the DL? (It's been over 10 years and I honestly don't remember much). Someone help!
