I'm no Buffy expert, but I've been digging around and most people seem to think the parallels are with this certain episode in season 7 of BTVS. Spike was hurt/chained up and this bad guy took on the form of Buffy and said stuff like "I will never care for you, I will never save you, you are worthless, etc" and then the REAL Buffy showed up and saved him. So, I'm still thinking the Caroline we've seen briefly in the promo is a Silas hallucination. More Tyler talk. I'm hoping them continuing to bring him up is just a lead in to some real closure for his character next episode. Since Caroline is going to Klaus for help in 4x19, it doesn't sound like Klaus offers Tyler a night off in this one because I think she'd just be focused on that if she knew he was coming. I'm just over it.
We need Scarlett. I think she's a BTVS fan. LOL my EXACT thoughts^ yeah i saw some speculators say that Spuffy had some great dialouge in that season and others said they were FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS in season 7. LOL yay Klaroline can declare themselves as FWB tonight ugh to the tyler talk.

Idk, I still feel weird. Between the abuse spoiler (it better be Silas, but I'm not sure any more), the neverending Tyler mentions and now people speculating that KC will end up the episode as "friends"... Meh.But that's probably a good thing, because if i don't have expectations the episode may blow my mind, right?

I still expect good things, but knowing that Tyler is going to be brought up a million times? I GET that Caroline is upset about Tyler leaving, but GURLLLL. He left not because Klaus is just a big meanie head who needed his competition out of the way, but because your macho boyfriend spent his last 6mo actively trying to take him out. And then bragged about how he was going to kill him and how he was going to enjoy it. Even Caroline told him to knock it off, but he was too busy getting drinks while stepping over Kol's body. I guess them getting into friends category is better than the frenemies they are now, but I DON'T WANT KLAUS FRIEND ZONED.

As for the 'friends' thing...idk, I would probably dig that more if it had happened in the beginning of the season. But now we've got only 4 more episodes left (and we don't even know in how many of them KC will interact), there's not enough time to develop a friendship. The show has been slowly but steadily building up some thick sexual tension between the two...and everything so far indicated that their storyline would reach a [censored] before the spin-off... Sorry but if the [censored] of a season-long buildup is going to be 'friendship', then I couldn't be more underwhelmed. Plus, shouldn't the reasons that make Caroline resist her attraction to Klaus apply to the possibility of friendship too?

Well Buffy and Spike were FWB in season 7 so maybe that could play a part in Klaroline scenes tonight LOL and [censored] if all this build up was just to set them up as friends, I could not be any more angry tbh. That is straight up bullsh!!t in my eyes. Can they even pull that off? With Klaus being in love with her and Caroline being attracted? Im not even kidding when I say this but FWB makes more sense. I just dont wanna be royally scre\/\/ed over by my otp. PLEASE. I just gotta remind myself that Jomo said this is a GOOD episode.

Great, now we've ruined Kat's mood too. Sweetie, dont worry. I recover quickly. LOL. I made this post on tumblr: Ok so while I’m not fully on board with Caroline and Klaus being friends YET…I did realize that this gives them foundation and when they DO get together (or I will cut someone, fo realz), they’ll realize that the thick sexual tension was too overbearing to ignore. But I do suspect Klaus proposing being friends with benefits instead
I really really believe they'll be endgame. stay calm, lovelies.

Just had to post that my hope is slowly dwindling. A ship has never quite had this sort of effect on me like this one does.
Will they? Won't they? It is driving me batty! Part of me wants to abandon ship so as not to get hurt if they don't get together, but I can't resist this pairing. I need a kiss...I demand a KISS!
If Klaus is friend-zoned, I am going to be so beyond disappointed. Why would they continue to build this up for no reason though? There has to be some purpose, right!?!?! Their chemistry is explosive!

Also, I have read a few comments in other places about a female lead being killed. People are speculating it is Caroline?

Isn't it bad enough that Tyler has a pivotal moment in 4X19?
See this is what I don't like about the KC development this season...all that unwanted baggage that comes with using Tyler and Forwood, so ineffectually like this. It's like a fly that won't die. First it was made to look as if Forwood had to break up to make way for Klaroline and then all the partly-incessant little things...'hating' Klaus for driving Tyler away , the phonecalls, the denial before the letter etc. I'm sorry, It all looked a bit forced then and now if he's brought up again so Caroline can take out her frustrations on Klaus, it's going to get ridiculous, to the point of it being laughable.
I swear, they are building all this up so Caroline would come off convincingly, when she says to Klaus at the end of the season, "I have many feelings for you but we can't be together right now..." We all know that this is probably going to happen...they are both stubborn and she's not going to be in the spin-off, where he's going to have other love-interests/obstacles and etc. And it's OKAY but the only problem with it is that some of us are having a hard time buying that Tyler's departure could have had such an impact on Caroline, when there was practically nothing to their relationship this season. I think I'm just biased. Sorry! And now I'm getting bad feelings about 4X19.
Anyways, the "friends" thing...gah! I don't know...like it's been mentioned above, with only three episodes left, no one's gonna have any time for being just friends. I don't think it's going to happen. If nothing could hinder/lessen their (potential) relationship's value, this definitely will!
Joseph Morgan did say that it was a great episode for Klaroline. So there's that. Just enough with the 'Tyler' mentions, please. He was a great 'hero' who accidentally shot himself in the foot, we get it.

Gahhhh, I KNEW this was going to happen. WHY? Can we not have one nice episode where Caroline isn't doing something for him that benefits her?
If Klaus DOES allow him to return, why doesn't Tyler stick around? Can I at least hope that Tyler is the one who doesn't way to stay?
Ugh
Sigh
Ugh

I personally think a friendship could add foundation (not that they dont already have that) but yeah, it wont last long because sexy tension and all that i HATE the constant tyler mention though. please. STAHP. Im sticking to what Joseph said about tonight but Im keeping my expectations low. Yup. I just hope for fluffy moments LOL. Im gonna have to go with mandy: ugh. sigh. ugh.
