I saw a theory that Stefan calls Caroline and asks her to check on Klaus. Either he can't get ahold of him or he does and Klaus sounds weird. Perhaps they need to talk to him about Silas. Remember Damon and Stefan are on the road to chase Elena and Rebekah? She protests, but then finally agrees. Thus her reluctance.

That would make sense. I just don't really see her randomly swinging by his place period, but especially after what happened at the end of 4x17. Unless maybe it's because she wants to tell him exactly what she thinks of his attitude and the way he acted toward her? She's a little blunt. lol

She's a little blunt. lol Can you imagine if she came to bring him mini muffins to thank him for burying the witches? Lol I keep thinking the episode will begin with him hallucinating about her torturing him but then it will cut to her answering the phone. Ala those moments when Kat pretends to be Elena. |

I don't know if it will begin with him hallucinating her torturing him, but you're probably right that he hallucinates that at some point, considering her "I will bring you nothing but misery" comment in her weird un-Caroline tone. All while telling him she hates him over and over again, since that's obviously one of his biggest fears, poor guy. When vampires are hallucinating because of a wolf bite, they don't necessarily see bad things, so I'm thinking his hallucinations stem not only from the fact that he is diseased, but that Silas has managed to work his way into his head. The fact that it's Caroline being cruel to him in those hallucinations (or so we assume, and I think it's a fairly safe assumption) screams Silas to me, because he preys on people's weak spots, ie the way he manipulated Bonnie using her feelings for Jeremy. Klaus' weak spot is Caroline--or I suppose you could say he has two weak spots, which are Caroline and his need to be loved. So combine those two, using the girl he wants so badly to have feelings for him, and you've got a pretty effective torture method right there.

If it's Silas controlling what he sees (if Klaus is wounded enough, maybe he can get inside his head? I do love when it's acknowledged just how powerful Klaus is. Just that quick mention that Silas can't get in Klaus' head like he can all the others gave me a little fangirl moment) maybe not all the hallucinations are bad? Sort of good cop, bad cop. Klaus sees Caroline hating them, but then he also sees Caroline returning his feelings and is all "bring Silas the cure and we can be together" sort of thing. It would be interesting to see, but SO heartbreaking because it wouldn't be real.

Yeah...Caroline sounds like a DEMON in the promo..so unless the writers wanted her to change the way she talks, its a hallucination. LOL.  Im just sticking with my assumption/theory of Caroline being his anchor to humanity/safe haven while evil caroline (in the visions) will do the OPPOSITE. MY POOR KLAUSY KINS. BBY LET ME HUG YOU.  Klaus's week spot is his family as well...so Silas will most likely torture him with having Caroline say she hates him OR Kol resenting him. (DEAR GOD NO) But yeah either way, its gonna be a good episode for our bbs so overall, i have no worries. |

LOL ikr! speaking of which...I LOVEEEEE her outfit bb Caroline has great style I think someone asked if they're in klaus's house...I think they are, I recognize the easel and the fire place. But then I said that I thought the picture in which Caroline is holding those pliers actually had an easel in it, so I think it is his place. I think Caroline will probably show up for whatever reason, and then he'll start hallucinating her doing/saying things she isn't actually doing/saying, hence the reason why he gets her outfit right. She's going to have to be very careful; this is going to be like poking a wounded bear with a stick. He could lash out and unintentionally hurt her. |
