I don´t like that he obviously had feelings for her back then.........that´s what bothers me about this whole ex-girlfriend thing.......... that he had feelings for somebody before (besides Tatia)........and it looks like nobody else is bothered with it  Why do you think that he had genuine feelings for her? Because the few pages of script I read didn't imply any feelings from Klaus.  And that's why I am not bothered yet. Also, considering how obviously unstable and obsessed Charlotte comes off as, I wouldn't worry much about people shipping her with Klaus. The way I see it, her potential is that of a minor villain, not a love interest. |

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This shipper downloaded the script for about Charlotte!!! And she said that Klaus definetly wont get with her, she's that crazy. I'll link you guys the post once its uploaded on her tumblr. She's a hardcore shipper so I trust her  I hope you don't mind... I took the liberty to post the script, seems interesting... I still don't know whether to believe it or not... If it is, I'm assuming that it could work for our favour considering the popularity and buzz about our ship for this season. The writers are not that stupid. And judging by the script, he's firm in his rejection. A lot of people are predicting a possible Caroline kidnapping because klaus likes her and charlotte wants to get rid of competition  also, we're gonna get Klaroline spoilers soon from Joseph because Carina interviewed him... STAY CALM! |

This "script" conflicts with the casting side because the casting side said Charlotte was turned into a vampire 9 years ago. If she's that young of a vampire then she couldn't have been alive during the 1920s. edit: Oh maybe I misinterpreted what the script was saying in the first sentence. Is this supposed be an early 1920s flashback or is it just saying Charlotte is in her early 20s? |

Another thing... Klaus is gonna be using hayley to get caroline. He doesn't need charlotte. But I'm excited to see whether she'll be jealous of klaus's feelings for caroline or not LOL |

OR they could go all crazy on us and Charlotte is really CAROLINE and we are seeing Caroline in the past?? |

I'm actually thinking like Dani wrote in another topic (lol), if they wanted to make a harem of women for Klaus, they should have picked us! We were available, I don't mind playing his past girlfriend at all ... No, but seriously, I think that entering the chick from Tyler's past was already enough...I don't know...I tend to think that it is completely OOC to add another female character named Charlotte. |

Since that "script" came from tumblr I'm less inclined to believe it. It's pretty easy for people to make up fake spoilers on there and get people to think it's real. it came from showfax.com and that site is believable, I read............. well, I will have to believe that he didn´t have any feelings for her 9 years ago.......but then why call her ex- girlfriend?  |

@alex: Except if he would take the opportunity of this woman falling from the sky, from his past to make Caroline jealous? Then, it would be Klaus character to do that. But, the past girlfriend think is giving me headache to tell you the truth.

Showfax is a legit site for casting auditions, so I think it's safe to assume that TVD is indeed looking to cast someone for a character named "Charlotte". But the script may be fake (and even if it isn't, her scenes and dialog may very well change until they start filming). but then why call her ex- girlfriend? Well, if they had sexual relations how else would they describe her? His booty call? ;D |

His booty call? ;D True, but it's pretty lame how they keep applying the "girlfriend" or "potential love interest" term to relationships that are nothing more than booty calls or one night stands.  I'm not interested in Klaus having an ex-girlfriend other than Tatia because I don't think it really fits in with the guy he's been for the last 1,000 years nor does it fit with Klaus being completely out of his element around Caroline as if he has very little experience in wooing a girl he likes. But I also feel like this Charlotte character will be a waste of time because the show is always introducing "former girlfriends" just to have the storyline go nowhere. If that script is real, then it's already obvious this is going to go the same way as Stefan's "relationship" with Rebekah. New character gets introduced as an ex-girlfriend as if it's going to shake things up and create a new love triangle but then the storyline gets dropped immediately. I don't care to see the show go this same route with Klaus. |
