There’s a Winter Wonderland-themed party in the Dec. 13 episode. What does Winter Wonderland look like in Mystic Falls?

They must have a killer storage unit for all these incredible decorations. It really was a Winter Wonderland. It was just cool enough in Georgia that you could be sipping on your hot tea, coffee, or latte sitting outside, and they’ve got fake snow and all these beautiful lights and they’re playing Christmas music. It was a cool week to go to work.

The synopsis for that episode says that Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline find themselves at odds with Tyler over his plans for Klaus and his hybrids. It feels like by virtue of her relationship with Tyler, Caroline hasn’t been interacting as much with Stefan as some fans may hope. But this makes it sound like the story lines will converge.

We will definitely see Caroline interact more with Stefan this season. Stefan’s constantly trying to do the right thing for Elena, even though it’s not necessarily what she seems to be wanting. And Caroline’s trying to do the right thing in making sure that everyone stays safe — including Tyler, love of her life, even if he’s willing to risk it all. I don’t think Caroline’s necessarily willing to risk his life. So Caroline and Stefan find a friendship in trying to really protect the ones that they love, even if the ones they love don’t want protecting.

We already know that Klaus/Tyler have a scene together and that things get bloody.

I knid of want Klaus to stop focusing on Caroline for a while after this episode. After yet another betrayal by her, I'd like to see him try to move on (and fail miserably ). And I want Caroline to see this and be affected by it.

I'm sure some of the KC shippers would not agree with us about hoping Klaus sort of shuns Caroline after he finds out about the non-break up and the hyrbid freeing. Also, Stefan knows about it. Way to go, show, making Klaus all upset at his two love interests...lol

I REALLY hope it's either Stefan or Caroline that ends up telling Klaus what's going in in 4x09. Especially since we know in 4x08 Hayley and Tyler do something that sounds like it ends up badly. Maybe JP means we get lots of scenes the next 4 weeks or so because then Klaus sort of throws up his hands and says "I'm out" and then we'll have to watch Caroline come to terms with her feelings and seek him out.

Either way, I can't see them just dropping the Klaroline arc after December, AT ALL. Our ship is just way too big at this point.

I really hope Klaus finds out about the set up from Caroline and\or Stefan. I mean we already know Steroline are at odds with Tyler about his plans FOR Klaus and his hybrids. Some speculate that Hayley attacks Caroline over her solution for the hybrid plan and Klaus discovers it, thus getting [censored]ed as hell and ensuing chaos and attacks Hayley. Then Tyler tries to help but Klaus attacks him too. O:
What if Caroline's solution is just telling Klaus what's up? Hayley is really invested in this plan and I know Tyler won't attack her for her soultion BUT he may disagree with the solution. It sounds like Caroline's idea doesn't work in their favor.

I'm praying Caroline tells him!! And seeing her pursue him may very well happen, imo. And she could be [censored]ed at Tyler for paying attention to the hybrids over her. I just have a strong feeling that it won't be happy dandy after Klaus finds out. Caroline will be affected by Klaus's anger imo...

And I just thought of something... Hayley wouldn't get mad about Caroline worrying over Tyler right? Because Hayley cares about Tyler too. So me thinks Caroline's solution actually includes Klaus.

I'm almost sure that Klaus will find out about the hybrid revolution accidentally. Not because Stefan or Caroline decide to tell him.
