@kstew, I agree with everything you said. Of course Klefan will always be my baby (cue Mariah) but I do enjoy some Klamon. They bring something different to the table. Seems like we have them hanging out for the next 2 episodes. I'm wondering what Damon meant when he told Elena he was going to make her do things she didn't want to do? Some are speculating that he's bringing her there to watch how him and Klaus are training Jeremy...but to what purpose? To once again show her he's the "bad one?". Sigh. Can we just talk about how hot Klaus looked this episode? I mean, did he just get more attractive or is it because we hadn't seen his pretty face in so long??? Yes to Klamon. Both have a distinct onscreen presence (Damon's has kinda diminshed recently) and to see them together is kinda electrifying. They are also the two characters with great instincts that actually function. I like how Klaus immediately called out on Damon trying to impress Elena with his good ways and it didn't feel like Damon would even think of contradicting.

If we didn't know about the spin off, I'd probably be "oh hell no! They're turning Klaus human at the end of the season!" but that's obviously not the case. we know in 4x20 Klaus goes to NO because he hears of potential up rising against him. No way would he go hang with his former vampire friend and see who is planning something against him if he is human. The TC scene. It was like JP went "so you guys think they are all sex? Here, let's give them THIS, they will be so surprised". And then we're all sitting here like "but Julie, they've done this 4 times already." It's like they don't really want to write for them, they just want to show us how much they're in love. I do wonder how Klaroline can have any forward progress in our two episodes now, though.

But to do so, I'm going to have to do things you won't like. I think he was referring to agreeing to Klaus plan to turn humans so Jeremy can kill 'em.

Also who felt bad for Rebekah this episode? Especially when she asked Stefan if what Elena said hurt him, and he said yes. Rebekah: Welcome to the last 9,000(?) years of my life. Man, I felt for her like I usually do. She was [censored] this episode, can we keep her like this?

Yes, that and especially when she repeated, "Did that hurt?" right after Stefan says, "Go to Hell!" The whole thing was like 5 seconds or so but it is my favourite part of this ep. Just in awe. Rebekah continues to amaze me in so many different ways. What a character!

The Cure really doesn't feel like it's a potion or anything to shove it down someone's throat. Okay...correction. The Cure could be Silas' blood. Okay, but that would be like an environmental hazard for some of our vampires who need to stay vampires. Not a good scenario...eeeek! This Silas guy is starting to intrigue me...at last, I know! Let's see if this character's buildup is going to be anything like Klaus's.

It's possible that the spell worked the way it did due to the fact that Bonnie is using "expression." It could be a side effect or a consequence of this type of magic. Bonnie isn't relying on her ancestors to help her on the other side. So without their help, maybe her magic now involves utilizing (up to draining!) the energy from her surrounding environment, which includes people. On another note, did anyone else think that having Caroline casually wandering around the school with that huge stake - and texting away - was silly and OOC? The Caroline and Stefan that I know would be practical enough to know that Rebekah would be expecting them so the chances of sneaking up on an angry Original would be very low so they would take some precautions and do a bit more planning. Why wouldn't Caroline at least set her phone so that her buttons wouldn't click when she hits them? I disabled that on my android the first day I bought mine. And doesn't Caroline own at least one coat or purse that she could hide that stake in? I thought it was silly that she was walking with the stake and texting at the same time, but not OOC for either one of them. Most of the gang's plans and how they approach dealing with their enemies is usually silly anyways. The funniest part about that scene was Caroline probably tipped off Rebekah to her location because of the noise of her phone.

With the way the story is heading, if the cure is real I think Damon will be the one to turn human. He's finally with Elena but we all know eventually they will have another obstacle thrown their way. It happens all the time with Delena. Stefan also wants the cure so badly for Elena and himself that the opposite is more likely to happen.

SW, you are probably right. I think Tyler's scenes last night were useless and a ploy to make us see "heroic" Tyler. Like I said, a lot of things could have been done and the story wouldn't have dragged out. Like snap his neck and make him nap for a while. And why didn't Stefan call Klaus?

God, I know a lot of people were touched by it, but I couldn't get affected by the Forwood scene because I spent the entire time in a deja-vu haze. I was thinking that I've seen the exact same scene before...in season 2. Tbh I think that scene was Julie Plec's attempt to try and remind people why they used to like Forwood, and why the ship is supposed to be so awesome and stuff.

I'll admit I thought it was a sweet moment for them, it did remind me why I used to like Forwood, but it wasn't enough to make me start shipping them again. Still a Klaroline fan.

They dragged that lame game of truth and dare on for practically the whole episode. And despite the hype and spoilers, only Elena really dropped "truth bombs". Stefan and Caroline could have just been flies on the wall for all the participation they had in that game. They Tyler chase was equally as lame, and was over as soon as it started. BTW did you guys see carina's chat thing? I wonder what she means by it's no guarantee Klaus leaves the show? Is he going to still appear on TVD from time to time?

Hmm....Im thinking theres a chance that klaus can appear from time to time. either that or she's not sure the show is getting picked up. and she also said she doesnt think theres a chance for KC because of Carol. ok. and she doesnt judge damon and DE? O K . Double standard.
