Of course he'd kill Carol. He killed Katherine's whole family. I feel like people are constantly underestimating what time he's from and how it has shaped him. The Originals are from a time when vengeance was basically law. It's their MO. Even Elijah killed Trevor for revenge. Why is this show so reluctant to admit that people are products of their time? but because of this, he will always be worse than the whole gang...to writters, it doesn´t matter that Salvatores killed people too, it will always be Klaus who is the worst and has to be killed that´s writters logic I'll be honest, this episode didn't give me the feeling that KC is going to work out. Not because of Klaus but because of Caroline. But no matter how much I'm into KC, I'll pick Klaus over Caroline if I have to. Especially when she's written like she has been in the last few episodes. As for this one, I see two options: a. It's inconsistent writing that has Caroline cheer and laugh at the prospect of burying Klaus in one scene and talking about her daylong () guilt about the plan. Which we see nothing of until this point. b. Candice is sabotaging Caroline's scenes with Klaus. Mean accusation? Probably, but it's the only other solution I can think of because I'm having a hard time imagining that the director told her to be 100% happy during the bathroom scene and suddenly remorseful at the Salvatores'. That's a 180. I'm with Mandy. Get him another girl if this one keeps plotting to kill him. Let's be realistic. He's not a virgin. I feel similar, but I´m not giving up yet...Caroline is mean.. but If it becomes too bad, I will ship Klaus with someone else....though I have no idea with who I don´t think it was Candice, as much as she probably hates klaroline, there are people during filming who know how that scene should look, they would tell her........

Mandy, Stew & Dee, I think Klaus was channelling the Bride from Kill Bill. ;D It was awesome and bamf. He looked rather sexy, especially in the last scene with Carol. He wears blood well. /*pause for shrieks of horror*/ What dampened my mood was how unhappy he looked while slayin' away. Poor bb wasn't feeling so christmasy. His short conversation with Stefan chilled me to my bones. He knew about the betrayal then, didn't he? Hayley must have told him. He gave Stefan a chance to come clean and he didn't. (Btw Mandy, you can like Stefan when you'e on team DE!) Of course he'd kill Carol. He killed Katherine's whole family. I feel like people are constantly underestimating what time he's from and how it has shaped him. The Originals are from a time when vengeance was basically law. It's their MO. That's a 180. I'm with Mandy. Get him another girl if this one keeps plotting to kill him. Let's be realistic. He's not a virgin. The episode was a mixed bag. Because all lakehouse scenes, including DE, fell flat I blame part of the awfulness on the writing (though I found Elena, Jeremy and Bonnie extremely flat in their acting too). So what I'm thinking is that the themes (loneliness, betrayal) were very well developed, but the relationships were a mess. Even the great scenes (Klaus/Stefan, Hayley/Tyler) were about themes rather than relationships. As for Rebekah, she and Team Tyler will be on team anti-cure now. Not happy about a possible team up. I dont think Candice sabotaged anything...it was inconsistant writing to me but I do agree that Klaus wears blood well LOL ;D Rebekah is getting back at Stefan. She isnt on Tyler's side.

I was upset at Tylers attitude towards Caroline, hes bitter with her and then as soon as she does what HE wants, he kisses her and says he loves her(conditional) STEFAN I LOVE YOU! He said what many of us have been saying ALL the time, Klaus is NO WORSE. Finally seeing it said makes me a bit content. As for Klaus, I don't see what he did as any worse as Damon killing the coach,Lexi,Abby, Jeremy,Alaric etc etc. Each one was done with either his own goal in mind or was because he was hurt or angry. Damon STILL to this day does these things..as much as Damon HAS changed...hes still a Vampire. Klaus is not a bad man, hes a hurt and lonely man. Who time after time has been betrayed by family and friends. Stefan was right in what he said that they all have family and support, Klaus doesn't. I mean look at him

I know Candice isn't the biggest Klaroline fan out there, but I think option (b) is a bit of a stretch. In the end, she's an actress and she has to do her job the way she's told. Directors are usually very specific in what they want from their actors in every scene so if Grismer wanted Caroline to not look so happy in the bathroom scene, he would have filmed it again and again to achieve the result he wanted. I doubt he'd let Candice put her own interpretation there if he disagreed with it. P.S. I'm dying at all the "poor Klaus" comments I see everywhere. Didn't really expect that sort of reaction... The haters must be dying inside LOL.

Well, Cashima...I doubt B is correct. No matter how much Candice may or may not be against Klaroline, it is what the writers, directors, and producers want to happen. If they didn't like how Candice was happy in the bathroom scene, they would have stopped and told her to do it until she got the scene right. I mean JoMo has told us they were specifically directed to act "cat and mouse" in the scene by the painting. I think that Klaroline can still happen. When you look at this at first it is easy to say "Klaus killed Carol." this won't happen. It's easy to forget that TVD is an alternate universe where it's okay to kill people and be in love with someone that has killed. Just about everyone on this show has killed someone's loved one. Some more than others. I also don't think that Bek and Tyler will team up. From what I've seen of Bek, she'd love to go back to human and live that life she's never gotten to live. However, she's got to be realistic like Klaus and admit that if she's human she's got an even bigger target on her back. The promo also makes me think that she's calling Tyler to lure him to the school for revenge. I think that we'll see Klaus pull away from Caroline if anything. He's trusted her one too many times and gotten burned. He knew she was up to something, but probably wasn't sure until Hayley filled him in on it. And as much as he hates how Rebekah is too easy to love, but he has that tendency too. I actually want to see Caroline put out because she feels entitled when it comes to Klaus per CA's interviews. And Caroline will be like "What?! I deserve his attention. Did I go too far now?" Dee, I forgot to comment on Carol. I was glad I wasn't the only one grimacing when Carol said she was trying to channel Richard Lockwood. It's bad to speak ill of the dead, but he was a jerk and womanizer. True, he was a better father than Mikael, and Richard's werewolf gene probably made his behavior worse.

I really hope Damon gets to be happy soon....he needed a huge hug and rightfully so, KC are very angry at each other so I dont really expect Caroline's sense of entitlement coming out soon. LOL Julie Plec confirmed she's after Stefan.

Who's after Stefan? Rebekah? Or Caroline will give up on Tyler and lust after Stefan? Hmmm...I don't know Kat. This is the show where Elena can forgive Damon in the next episode when he snapped Jer's neck not knowing he had the ring on. I'm wondering if the ring still works on him. Wouldn't he be a supernatural creature now? It was a bad episode for all ships: Forwood, Klaroline, Delena, Stelena, Klefan, Defan, and Tayley. Did I leave anyone out. Beremy seemed to be the only ones to end good.

“[And No. 3] he was a guy who frankly was not loved by his parents and hates himself for still wanting the life where he can trust people and love people. You see glimpses of that in how he deals with Caroline and how he deals with his siblings, but as we’ve also seen when he feels backed up against a wall or mistreated or abused he lashes out in the most dramatic way possible” Julie Plec www.tvguide.com/News/Vampire-Diaries-Midseason-Finale-1057771.aspx

True....we still have interaction in the coming episodes so I could be wrong LOL I just dont think she'll be the nicest...yet and JP said Rebekah is after Stefan. For that stupid body switch plan I guess. I have no idea if Jere's ring works right now...I think it could have sensed a different aura of some sort. Does that sound silly?

Well, why Stefan? It was Care and Tyler that came up with switching Klaus' spirit into her body. But Stefan knew about plan to put Klaus down and didn't speak. Where has it been said there is a time jump?

Makes sense. And Kol could be helping her because he's protective of his family AND he enjoys causing mayhem.
