Though it sucked not getting klaroline scenes, I was happy to know that klaus was all shocked at how tyler *potentially* cheated on a woman like Caroline. I died.

Isn't it crazy how Klaroline still took a step forward and we didn't even get any scenes between them?!
If Tyler DID cheat (although I still sort of say he just emotionally/mentally cheated) they kept this story underwraps big time!

Isn't it crazy how Klaroline still took a step forward and we didn't even get any scenes between them?! If Tyler DID cheat (although I still sort of say he just emotionally/mentally cheated) they kept this story underwraps big time! I know some fans were upset that Klaroline didn't have any scenes, but I wasn't upset at all because as you said their relationship still made progress even without Klaus and Caroline not having scenes together in this episode. I'm not sure what to believe about the Tyler cheating storyline anymore. Everyone is making convincing points that he could have either slept with Hayley or it could have just been emotional cheating. No matter which one it is, that will still cause severe, possibly unforgivable, problems in their relationship. I know what's it like to have a boyfriend who cheats and lies. Once that trust in a relationship is broken it's really hard to get back to a dynamic where you can feel like that person deserves your trust again. For Caroline, I'm not sure that forgiving Tyler would be possible considering the relationships she's had with her ex-boyfriends. With the exception of Tyler, Caroline has always felt like the guys she liked put her in second place behind some other girl they were attracted to. If she finds out Tyler didn't tell her about some other girl he got really close to because Hayley asked him not to then that's going to cause her old insecurities of feeling like the second choice to rise to the surface again. That makes me feel so bad for Caroline because she's tried her hardest to put her self-esteem issues behind her and now the guy she saw as being different from the rest will be the cause for her to become insecure about herself again. |
