My husband went to the grocery store awhile ago and I'm so hungry. I can't see myself waiting for anything to be cooked. I just may have to order something. And our daughter does deserve a bit of a treat. Her asthma has been really bad and her appetite hasn't been so great. We took her to the doctor today and she was also diagnosed with acute bronchitis.

Oh goodness, I hope she feels better soon! I've been battling eczema with my 8mo and I'm about to throw in the towel and take him to the doctor.

You may want to try changing to soaps, laundry soaps, shampoos, etc that are sulfate free (and stop using dryer sheets if you use them.) It made a big difference with my husband and daughter. And with baby products they are often loaded with perfumes and dyes to make them smell pretty.

And with baby products they are often loaded with perfumes and dyes to make them smell pretty. What's weird is that it's just on his face (on his cheek). My 3yr old had some eczema when he was a little older and I did a few of the things you suggested and it helped a lot. I'm constantly trying to keep something on the baby's face, but as soon as he feels me rubbing it on, he starts rubbing it off...lol.

My now 13 year old nephew had excema pretty bad when he turned one. Turns out that he was allergic to dairy. When he was born, he had bad colic and they switched him from regular formula to soy formula. When he turned one it was okay to take him off of forumula, so they started letting him drink cow's milk. He also had bad nasal allergy symptoms. Sometimes to the point of needing to do a breathing treatment with one of those machines...Can't remember what it's called.
Think your child could have a food allergy?

It started about a month ago when he got the flu. The doctor said it was just from being snotty, getting that on his face, me cleaning it a lot, etc. But it just never went away. It's this big circular patch right on one of his cheeks, and is sort of dry and flaky. My guess is eczema, but I think I'm going to go ahead and get it checked out.
My daughter was allergic to milk (couldn't even do soy formula and we had to have Neocate UPS'ed to us once a month!) but thankfully she grew out of it.

School cancelled today due to weather. Going to try to do some handywork in my oldest child's bedroom.

Ah, I need to do some work in my daughter's room too. I finally found some curtains to replace the ones that are currently in there but I just can't seem to find the time. Plus, she has lights strung up all over the top of them so it is going to be more complicated.

My husband put up her curtain rod a few weeks ago. We went to put up a new set of curtains and it fell down. When I went to Menards they told me I needed to get anchors for the wall. The former owners of our house had curtain rods that were mounted inside of the window. In the drywall. Too much sunshine coming in. So, I moved the curtains to the outside and will put up shades on the inside. Now, if only I can get out a stubborn piece of hardware from the old curtain. Also, fixed the loose top of her desk by putting on 4 L brackets.
