I don't dislike the character Haley but I don't feel that she is necessary. Her character lacks depth and doesn't really mesh with the other characters. Maybe this is why she is a convenience choice to move over to a potential spin off - no one in Mystic Falls would miss her. That aside, I have to wonder what story line potential that Hayley has other than ending up a dead werewolf. She may have earned a few brownie points for tipping off Klaus about his disloyal hybrids but I can't see him suddenly trusting her or having really much an use for her. Plus, why would Klaus bother to keep her alive when/if he finds out that Shane and Haley played him? I think that is where my dis like stems from, I hate un developed characters or characters that are just thrown in so they can have someone to kill. I have no clue why he would keep her alive, seems in consistent to his character

Out of my family of 5, 4 of us have the flu. Save me!!! My daughter and husband ended up with this wicked viral thing and I tried fighting with vitamin C, zinc, etc. I lasted for about a week and then I came down with it. I've sick for a few days and my temp has been up to 103.2. Oh, and I've had a migraine on top of it. (I think the migraine was triggered due to dehydration or the lack of sleep.) I finally was able to get some sleep today and now I'm eating again so I'm feeling better.

My husband is the only one who somehow hasn't gotten sick. My parents had to come over and watch my older kids while I took the baby to the doctor. He's all loaded up on Tamiflu so hopefully there will be a change soon. My oldest is going back to school tomorrow, which will be the first time all week. It's been a loooooong 5 days.

I hope everyone and their families are doing great by now! Is this the right place to talk about a dream? Okay so I had a dream about Klaus (the first long, vivid one ever!) Not vivid, like THAT or anything but you know....
The setting was a bit odd, I'm sorry but I don't think they were vampires at all, maybe they were but very susceptible to lasting injury and the scenes had a bluish cold drab feel (something out of a murder mystery set on the road). There was an awful lot of Elena (Oh god...WHYYYYY?!) and witch talk and authorities calling on her home to inquire about something, someone threatening to Kill Elena....and some sage burning as well (It was a crazy mis-matched setting, alright.)
And who started all the talk here about a worrisome Tyler-Klaus confrontation...I'm looking at you MANDY !!!
Because in the dream, I was witnessing the gruesome aftermath of some bloody 'confrontation'...looked like Klaus won somehow and Tyler did this for Caroline (not to avenge his mother) and it was horrible! The scene was very dark and dimmed, Klaus was lying on a bed having just lost his left leg below the knee ( don't kill me, guys! It was hard enough to type those words, okay? Forgive me...I blame that 4X14 still!) and I don't even know how that happened! There was a lot of blood and bloodbags. Tyler was there too...defeated and remorseful but Klaus' rage was unnerving, frightening...like no other. The room itself cowered and exploded before it. All the howling and anguish was just....just...(sorry I can't.. I'm still frightened, you guys!)
Caroline wasn't there and I assumed she was dead or she could be alive, even. But it was the next sequence that was amazing...it was several weeks later, Klaus was in good but bitter spirits and you know what?! I was with him...I was actually WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!! By his side in person...oh my god! We were working on some plan and about to go see Stefan about it. Stefan in the dream had betrayed Klaus before (yeah, that turncoat was no different!) and there was some tense, conflicting talk between us all. I even leaned very close to Klaus at one point and linked arms with him before we entered Stefan's house. Don't ask me about the plan, the details are vague and have already escaped. But you know what the stangest bit was...it was Stefan's pizza! Lol...I know! We had interrupted him eating and it was honestly, the weirdest edible thing I had ever seen!!!! Klaus glanced over at it JUST ONCE with classic and massive distaste. But Stefan was enjoying it, nonetheless. The fool! It was topped with huge amounts of broccoli, corn kernels...with an odd-looking pea-green and brown sauce and something leafy of the color purple (raw spinach or something alien). IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! Maybe we should feed this to the MF gang for the rest of their miserable eternal lives!
The dream would have continued but I woke up, having already gotten late for work and I have the distinct memory of hitting the snooze button a few times in between during this dream. I know you're all wondering how did we even look talking about "the plan" with this abomination of a pizza sitting there in the same room with us! Crazy dream but I have a question, have you ever had the sense of smell in your dreams? It's supposed to be quite rare. And no no, I don't wish to smell that thing! in case you're wondering...it just crossed my mind when there was the lack of smell of blood earlier.

Haha, aeidail, that dream is brilliant! Isn't it funny how the important details escape you, yet you can remember perfectly linking your arm through his and how Stefan's pizza looked (i feel like that should be an euphemism or something. Ha! ) I've only had one Klaus dream and it was quite a bit ago. I wasn't even in it, just one of those weird dreams where you're watching it play out. In it, Caroline had come to Klaus to make him erase a certain memory from her mind, no idea which one, and Klaus just kept going on and on about how could she be certain he also wouldn't compel her to love him when he did? I was thinking "no, Klaus. Stop talking! Don't make her change her mind!

I don't think I've ever had a TVD dream. I don't often remember my dreams.

I rarely remember my dreams. And when I do, they're usually weird dreams about dogs, snakes, an old uncle of mine e.t.c. Why can't I dream about hot fictional characters too.
Ugh, I've got so much work to do this week and yet all I want is to stay on the couch with food and my laptop nearby. I need to get focused somehow.

I vaguely remember dreaming about TVD once but it was a mess of things. Something about the school.
I too rarely remember my dreams. I really should try to write them down.

You should start writing them, the more you do, the more you'll remember. But day dreams are the best, so much so that you have to remind yourself that they're not actually together... If only! Really, the best thing for Caroline would be to get out of there haha

Stupid Tumblr question. I know on FB that I can be someone's "friend", but they don't show up in my news feed. Is it possible on Tumblr to follow someone, but not have their posts or all their posts show up in my newsfeed? Some people post SO much that it keeps me from seeing others.

Ooops, sorry Donna You can try just blocking them, but they'll know if they try to look at your blog or write you, I think. If they post a lot of the same stuff, you can also black list what that is with tumblr savior. Like if they posted a lot of a certain actor, just put the actors name in the black list and nothing with that person's name in the tags would show up on your dash. I wish there was a way to just block certain posts. There's this one going around about Klaus being a wife beater (haha, ok. Let's just use real life morals and situations on a show about vampires. *eye roll*) and it just keeps popping up because all my followers are responding to it and fighting the OP on it and just arghhhhh. I don't want to see it! /rant.
