Aww, if it was me, I'd be taking Lacey home for sure. There is just something about the cats that have survived out there in the wild, they are usually very loyal. They have an appreciation for a good meal and a roof over their heads. Plus, with a cat that is bit older you already know what you are getting in terms of personality and they generally don't cause as much trouble as a kitten. Of course, this is just my opinion, I'm sure you will be drawn to the right choice and you will be delighted to have a new member of the family whoever it is.

I've pretty much already decided that I'm going to adopt Lacey. The only unsure thing left about her is whether she'll get adopted first before I'm able to see her or if for some reason I conclude she's not compatible for my household. I already have a cat at home so part of my decision will have to involve whether I think she and him will get along. I'm more undecided about whether I want to adopt two cats. Lacey I've already made up my mind on but I also loved the kittens I saw at the local shelter today, particularly the little black kitty who reminds me way to much of my cat Bella who passed away last year. It's always hard choosing an animal from a shelter to take home because I see them and want to adopt them all. But I also have Dobby to think about and he might not like having having two new cats brought home at once.

Google online and you can find tips on integrating them. But my 14+ year old cat like the 1 1/2 year old cat the best and he was just sprung on him. I think it is because they are two boys that like to wrestle. Sometimes what you think is fighting is play. The 2 boys cats will lick each other, especially if one is upset. If you get 2 kittens that may occupy them so that one kitten isn't bothering the 9 year old to play as much. A cat should still be pretty playful at 9. I like the "My cat from hell" site. The human star of the show is Jackson Galaxy....Maybe it's his site I like.

Awwwww. Adorable. I took my 19 year old cat in to the vet yesterday because her input and output wasn't good. They gave her IV fluids there. They sent me home with some medicine, more IV fluids and high calorie food. She lost a pound and is done to 5lb 3 oz. The vet talked to me about when would be the time to let go because she is suffering. But I know my husband would want to try to help her. She does seem to be doing better. I dread doing the SubQ fluids myself. I've done it before and they make it look so easy on the YT videos.

I think I might get my cats one of those cat towers for Christmas. I think they would love it - as long as they don't fight over it. I have a feeling that they would all want to be on the top section.
