I'm not sure why the fans would be upset about filming in NOLA. I've read on Twitter and articles they've linked that some residents aren't happy about filming in Covington GA for TVD.
Nope...Not shipping anyone else on the spin-off. Won't do it. You can't make me. Digging fingernails into ground as you try to take me away.
Modified to say: Not shipping Klaus with anyone. Caroline and spinisterhood.

I could see myself shipping Klaus with someone from the show IF I know Klaroline's future and IF I like the character and IF I like the story line and IF they don't make Klaus OOC in order to get him with this person . And no triangle. Nope. Nada. Of course my preference is Klaroline forever and ever, but if it can't be her, I do want him with someone. Poor guy. Plus my eyes really just want a make-out scene.  It's weird that if Klaroline doesn't work out, I will be semi-ok with seeing Klaus with someone else. But if it doesn't work, I'll be like "nope, Caroline never gets another love interest. Sorry not sorry." Maybe because I'll be feeling spiteful because if klaroline crashes and burns, it will be because Caroline is the one who just never gives it a chance? Or maybe because her two choices would be Forwood (UM NOOOO) or Steroline (and while cute, Stefan can't hurt his bestie klaus like that). I just need to see 4x13 and 4x14. I need GOOD klaroline moments. I think with the long break, how Caroline once again tried to take him out in 4x09, and her having no problems killing Rebekah...my klaroline heart is a little bruised.  They need to make it up to me and have something like "Caroline finds herself getting closer to Klaus" in the 4x14 synopsis. All will be forgiven if I see that.  |

But the thing is, Klaus hadn't shown genuine interest for any woman in centuries. Caroline was supposed to be, at least that's what the show tried to tell us, the first one to catch his interest in a really really long time. They will have to pull some extremely careful writing in the spin-off for Klaus not to appear OOC if they're planning to give him a new love interest in season 1 already. Especially since 1 TVD season=a few weeks/months in the characters' lives. I have trouble seeing how they can write Klaus developping feelings for someone new a few months after he got intrigued by a woman for the first time in centuries and not make him OOC. Looks a bit like a dead end to me.  More like Forwood and Forwood. And mayby Maroline (Julie has said in the past that she'd like to revisit them at some point)? A lot of people have been speculating about Steroline, but I just don't see it happening ever. Unless they hint about it in the series finale. But until then, it's obvious that both Stefan and Damon will be focused on Elena no matter their occassional flings with other women. And I can see Stefan having a fling with Rebekah, no strings attached, but with his bff Caroline? Em, not really. |

He's not lived like a priest for 1000 years. I think what initially kept Klaus' interest is that she didn't immediately fall at his feet, like he's used to. Then he got to know her while wooing her and now he really is genuinely into her. I don't think they would make him fall in love with anyone else anytime soon, definitely not in the first season I wouldn't think. A hook-up, though? That's probably in the cards if Caroline doesn't immediately go over. I could also totally see them making him slowly take notice of someone else, about the time caroline shows up or something, and WHALA. Another triangle is born. I can not see a Matt/Caroline reunion. Stefan's tricky because not only is he in a Stelena pairing, but also Stebekah and there is a pretty big Stefan/Katherine fan base. So Steroline might not ever be in the cards, but they'll probably tease it enough to keep those fans happy. I wish they'd realize what a powehouse of a couple they have in Klaroline. One of the spin off's main stories could be them trying to make it work, Caroline having to deal with his tantrums, Klaus having to try to deal with their differences, etc. Plus a slightly darker version of Caroline would be awesome. We know she has it in her after the whole Rebekah thing.  |

I think he's hooked up some, too. I got a definite vibe between him and Greta. And remember Scary Mary was an Original groupie. I used to joke on vd-net that he was a virgin. That because JP said something in one of her soundbites that Caroline made Klaus feel and experience things he hadn't before. Not sure if that was her exact wording. I don't think he's known love since being a vamp. That was the purpose of those letters Stefan found. He stole them from his victims because Klaus wanted the feeling of being loved. They were letters to his female victims from their lovers, etc. Disappointed we didn't get to see them hanging on his bedroom wall like JoMo showed us in that MTV clip. JP mentioned this summer maybe revisiting Maroline. There aren't enough vomiting smilies to express my feelings. Why doesn't anyone ship Jaroline? (Jeremy & Caroline). I think he's had flings, but nothing permanent or important. Dude totally hooked up with Gretta and Scary Mary, though..lol. Mary lived the dream and got to hang out with all the Mikaelson boys  I think Klaus is crushing hard on Caroline, which might be the first time ever (well, after Tatia). I guess they could use the whole "Caroline made him feel again blah blah blah" excuse to get him with someone else quickly, but I wouldn't see them going there. I feel like if they decide not to go with Klaroline, they'll try to make us forget it ever happened. |

Preach it. JoMo....Do lots of working out because we expect to see a lot of you. Makeup artists. Start covering tats. Maybe we'll forget that he probably couldn't get tats 1000 years ago and couldn't have gotten them later because he'd start healing during the tattoo process. We'll be.......distracted. I was looking for an image of Matt at MMF, but can't find one. That weird expression on his face is my feelings on Maroline....Some called it duckface. I think he was constipated. |

It's obvious that Klaus has had his fair share of lovers in the past and I'm definitely not against hook-ups. I just don't want to see any sudden romantic feelings any time soon. If they're going to have Klaus fall for some girl, they will have to build that up for a long long time to make it believable for me.
So we ship make-up department/overtime and Caroline/forever alone? ;D

tania: LOL I ship that ;D those are my otp's guys  and Im not against klaus hooking up with a random chick but i dont want to see romantic feelings. like i said, he can sleep with other girls but still care about care (if they are given an opening in the SO) that aside, im SO happy daniel signed on ^_^

Agreed with all of the above! No way has Klaus not been getting some on the side (even if TVD writers are jerks and won't even show us a bit of Klaus' goods). I don't even know what to think about the spinoff anymore, in respect to possible love interests or romantic storylines. All I know is that I'm way too happy about the news that we'll have Elijah and Klaus on the same shows and sharing the spotlight. Now, can we get Kol and Rebekah in there as well? |
