She wants a simple life. She can dream about those things when she's around Klaus. But it's not something she really wants. You can appreciate the taste of caviar but it doesn't mean you want it for breakfast, lunch and dinner." Excuse me, what? Che? Que? No capito. Since when is someone refusing the excitement of life and adventure ever a plot audiences want to see? This girl is 18. Not 30 and anxious to settle down and birth four kids. Not 60 and looking forward to retirement either. What girl at 18 doesn't want to live her dreams? Is this something young female audiences are supposed to identfy with? If this is the choice between Klaus and Tyler then - LOL! It's the unsexiest choice she could have painted. Is this supposed to get us worked up?  |

She really did make Tyler seem like the most boring thing ever. You don't dream about things you don't really want. The fact that Klaus makes her want those things in the moment means she really does have an interest in getting out of Mystic Falls. I see it as just another "I need to prop up Forwood a bit" moment by Candice, especially since she had also said in another interview that TC just don't know how to have a relationship with each other. |

Ok, Joseph confused me a bit with the latest interview: He doesn't think that it would be possible for Klaus to compromise...but then he says that he does compromise a little in the next few episodes.  Am I reading this wrong? |

Ok, Joseph confused me a bit with the latest interview: He doesn't think that it would be possible for Klaus to compromise...but then he says that he does compromise a little in the next few episodes. Am I reading this wrong? LOL I think our bby is trying to be a little too coy here... one great example of that was when he was interviewed at the end of season 3 about returning to TVD S4. LOL the guy was trying so hard to be sneaky.  and oh goodness....a shipper of kc on tumblr thought that klaus would attack caroline in this ep.... silly, silly!!!!! lol it just kinda put me off to read that, you know?  like what?! |

I think he sort of mixed his own opinion (that Klaus can't compromise) and to what's coming up (that Klaus is willing to) into one sentence. Read it Kat, it's actually pretty good. NONE of them of been bad. |

AND, AND (call me crazy), but if jomo is saying that klaus does some things that might kind of impede his pursual of caroline, that says that he's gonna do everything BUT kill carol. I mean, think about it!! if he killed caroline's boyfriend's mom, Joseph would be more harsher with his words. He'd say 'Klaus does some things that destroy his chances with caroline' or anything like that.
Know what I mean? ;D Hope I made sense....
