Yes, dealing with them in their way had gotten him betrayed again and again this season. He doesn't really want to be seen as weak again. Elena....Ugh...She killed 2 of Bek's brothers and thousands of maybe innocent vampires. And she could only rant about how Bek treated HER. Bek was grief stricken (just like Klaus was) and if Alaric had managed to catch up to the Originals there would have thousands more die. She also tried to stake Elena with the white oak stake! Good golly Elena, what is wrong with you?! She seriously stomped around this entire episode complaining about something. And THANK YOU rebekah for calling stefan out on them bringing up her killing Elena. SHE DID WHAT ANY OF THEM WOULD HAVE DONE. Caroline Dries, can I marry you? I am still continuing to love Shane. There's just something about him. So...how are the Bonnie fans reacting? I bet they are all kinds of mad, first because of damon trying to kill shane regardless that it would be the end of Bonnie. And second because Elena barely touched on that fact before pleading with Damon to take the cure with her. We know from Ian that Damon is NOT doing that. Can they find out this cure is fake sooner rather than later, please? I have no interest in watching them turn human and it will funny since Tyler is soooo sure they're going to get it.

Oh God. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. Watching this episode was like watching three different episodes really: The boring island parts. The disastrous T/C/K scenes. And then the incredibly emotional final Klaroline scene. The "L" word got out, guys...The L WORD. And watching Klaus' face in the end, when Caroline gave him her little speech was mayby more impactful than the speech itself. I'm going to rewatch the hell out of that scene. The previous ones, not so much, I am still a bit disturbed although Klaus was perfectly in character. I have to say, I felt dead inside for a while there. Thankfully I got a last minute recuperation. Shoutout to Mandy and Donna for the emotional support. It was a tough night. Now can someone quickly fill me in on the island parts? I honestly don't remember anything.

don't know..I just typed Beremy into Tumblr and there are lots of feels. The cure is probably fake to get people to resurrect him. Dee said on Tumblr that Shane seeing his wife was probably a hallucination made by Silas to get people to resurrect him. Give them false hope to see there loved ones again.
Edited to say: Apparently not happy about how Bonnie is treated.

The scene reminded me of when Klaus daggers Rebekah and told him he was a man who couldn't love. Yet here was Caroline saying he could. Broke my heart.... It's like an "only for you" moment. How cheesy and completely amazing

I saw a theory that Caroline was crueler than usual with Klaus because Tyler was right there. Thought? Anyone disappointed that Bek called a truce with Elena so soon. She was kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. Stuck out on a deserted island with Crazy Shane out there doing who knows what with half of their group kidnapped.

Yeah, a little confused on the island part of the story line. Shane saw his dead wife and she (aka Silas) told him exactly how to get the spell to raise him. He lured them all there, and has Bonnie and Jeremy kidnapped. I'm Team shane on this, only because I need Silas to come out and just slaughter everyone. Oh, and a smokin hot vampire hunter has Damon. He'll unfortunately probably be killed next episode, but he's pretty to look at. Can someone remind me how do we know that a "popular" scene is waiting for us next episode. I mean, i know that Jomo tweeted that he was shooting it, but I can't remember how we knew that they were on 4x14

Why was Tyler so sure that what happened to one Original wouldn't happen to the rest of the line? The line died when the Original died. Would make sense to have them all turn human.
Or was he just trying to get a rise out of Klaus?

Maybe if Elena asks them.... -.-

Or was he just trying to get a rise out of Klaus? I'm assuming Tyler was just trying to get a rise out of Klaus because otherwise that revelation came out of nowhere. Nobody has ever said Klaus's werewolf side cancels out his blood connection the vamps he's made and I have no idea why Tyler would believe that to be true. Same with him claiming the cure would only turn Klaus human. That's not a risk he should be taking. Tyler must have been just spewing nonsense because he wanted Klaus to think he has the upperhand now.

I really don't have that many thoughts this week. Mostly just theorizing and throwing popcorn at the screen when Elena's whiny face shows up. AND WHY YOU CASUAL THROW BLANKEY OVER CRISPY KOL!? And right in front of Klaus, like rubbing salt into the proverbial wound. Psh. Jerks. These were really the three predominant thoughts when it ended: Tyler - FOR ONCE - [censored]ed me off in this episode. I don't blame the character, I blame the writing. They are trying too hard to force down our throats his heroic stance and "I can take Klaus" bravado. It's a little nauseating and frankly, ridiculous. As Klaus clearly proved, Tyler cannot overpower him in any way, shape, or form. And through violently hurting Caroline - the one thing he loves - he declares it so. Look, I can hurt someone I care about so that it hurts you. I am a monster. Need more proof? Kay. Gonna let her die so you learn your lesson. Sorry, love, nothing personal. You're what's called colateral damage. Again. ...jerk. Okay, no, not really. I kind of inwardly cheered at his impaling and biting Caroline. It reassured me that his characterization is still intact and that he can be a goddarn bastard, even to people he loves. And it was so suitable to his character to lash out, AND prove a point in doing so. As a shipper, did my heart hurt? A little. But I knew it'd be redeemed later. The whole bringing her home then bringing her back thing seemed redundant though. Seemed like a lame plot device to give Forwood a tender moment. They're like, hanging on by a thread those two. lol Oh and don't get me started on how disappointed I am in Rebekah. First of all, her speech to Stefan. Epic. Thank you. Go Beks. But then all of a sudden, saves Elena's life. WHY!? LET HER DIE REBEKAH! *sigh* Okay, fine, whatever you just want to be human and the human thing to do is be a pushover and forgive and whatever but COME ON. You were going to kill Kol for trying to stake you but let Elena get away with it? Double standards, girl. For shame. And calling a truce - possibly because you want Stefan's approval? *sigh* Bekah, you dropped back down to #2 [censored]. Bring me my Katherine now, plz. Speaking of dopplegangers, I'm so over Elena. As if last week wasn't enough of a sign, the girl is trying to sweet talk Damon into taking a cure he doesn't even want. Honey, lemme sing you a song... "You can't aways get what you wannnnt!" And I bet his not taking the cure would lead her straight back to Stefan. *sigh* Time to sing again. "This is the triangle that never endssss and it goes on and on my friendssss...two brothers started fighting over a doppleganger, and in the midst of breakups and makeups they both got to bang her, cause it's the triangle that never endss....." I'll touch upon the tender Klaroline moment for a second real quick because I know I know, it's all the buzz right now. I don't know, am I the only person that thinks it's STILL too early for the L-word to be tossed out there? I wanted Klaus to be snarky and be all, "That's quite presumptuous of you, love." *shrug* And come on. We all knew he'd save her. I admit, it's nice to see the layers peeling back and I totally appreciated her talking about how he had a part of his humanity and how she'd seen it. But I can't help feeling something about that scene felt forced and off and like it was trying to appease us after the debacle in the kitchen. And yes, as Donna said, i did mention on Tumblr that I'm betting Silas is creating figments of peoples' loved ones to dupe them. I mean, you drop your blood in offering? Hmmm. What was it Shane said? Blood is the life force of immortals? Interesting. And blood just so happens to provide visions of what you want to see - also a notable power of vampires (See Damon, See Sage, See, Rebekah). Sorry, but I think Shane's checked into the looney bin. Who was his pal, Dreads, though? I kept laughing when he showed up. Like...TVD, when did you become a game of Vampires and Indians? I don't know. Maybe I'm still bitter from last week's events but this episode was a snoozefest.

She was kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. Stuck out on a deserted island with Crazy Shane out there doing who knows what with half of their group kidnapped. Yeah, I thought that Caroline was harsh about Kol. I just figured she would have at least told Klaus she was sorry that he lost his brother. I think she was crueler with Tyler right there. It seems she is never herself with Klaus unless the two of them are alone. She is always throwing out the insults if someone is watching. But when they are alone, outside a bar, or on a park bench say....... But it felt like Klaus was in character, and grieving, so I am glad he was not a complete tool when she walked in. The scene was hard to watch, I wonder about those two. And is Caroline now trapped? Bekah may have called a truce, but maybe she will end up holding the grudge in the end. Poor Rebekah. She is quickly becoming my favorite...

I had to press pause and take a breather after he staked her and bit her, guys... I couldn't handle it. I was literally screaming into a pillow in my living room all by myself. And that last scene between them KILLED ME! It was just so freaking great! He LOVES her, LOVES her. I can't.
And I have to admit I'm a little wary of Caroline's admission about catching herself trying to forget all the horrible things he's done. She's just lied to him so many times to get what she wants that I don't even know anymore. If anyone's been manipulative in this "relationship", it's been her. I'll have to see what happens in the following episodes to know if she really meant it or not.

Right now though, she knows that it's in her best interest to go along with everything and just stay alive. She wouldn't forget her brothers that quickly.
