I think he is just contemplating what to do with that information....but of course, I like the first version more. Really? because that little jaw twitch and scoff while recoiling clearly indicated that he was [censored]ed. Trust me, if he full heartedly enjoyed it, he would make it known.

I feel like at this point in the series, we're all pretty good at reading Klaus' expressions, and he was definitely [censored]ed/upset/disappointed in Tyler.

Can we all just take a hot second to acknowledge his face. He’s not even smug or anything, he’s just genuinely shocked as to why anyone would cheat on Caroline. Like, he looks like he doesn’t want to be the one to tell her either, he doesn’t want her hurt. Bless. ~From tumblr So interesting that there is a gif of Michael Fassbender and Joseph Morgan. They were on the BBC series "Hex" together, when I first discovered JM and MF. My husband suggested the show since BTVS had gone off the air. JM played "Troy" which happens to be my husband's name. His character was then written off, and I could never understand, because I thought his character was adorable. And now I can't think of the TVD without him. It would not be the same...

From tumblr He’s not gloating over the ‘break-up drama’ or secretly pleased that she might not be spoken for anymore. The serious face indicated as if he could utterly understand how she must be feeling, and he was willing to trust and respect her by providing the oppotunity and allowing her to deal with her own problems. With all due respect, who would not fall for this kind of guy?

SHE approached HIM. There also wouldn't have been a date because he was trying to leave. My BB is such a gentleman when it comes to her.

Pleasantly surprised when it didn't come. Showed me that she may actually be starting to consider him a little. Yay!

I really think that Tyler is a problem. He's outgrown Caroline as a girlfriend, but doesn't want to break up with her or let her go because that means that Klaus has the opportunity to get her, and since Tyler is so competitive and self-righteous, he can't let that happen. So what he's basically doing is keeping her trapped and not letting her move on to Klaus or living on her own or whatever when anyone with eyes can clearly see that Hayley is a better fit for him. Tyler doesn't appreciate Caroline the way Klaus does, nor can Tyler do anything that will benefit Caroline. Like, when I think of Klaroline, I see Klaus helping Caroline be more comfortable with her vampire nature while she helps him feel more of a sense of belonging, which is something I like. To me, Klaus and Caroline are two lost souls who are gonna find home and love in each other.

Something that really appeals to me about Klaroline (and the latest clip has confirmed it) is that neither Klaus nor Caroline want or need one to bow down to the other in order for them to have a relationship (at least I think that). Part of the appeal for both of them is the challenge of finding the middle ground, of being loved and understood, but also challenged.
