I feel too that the Originals and Klaroline are the show for me. They just have a level of sophistication that the trio doesn't have (although I have a love for stefan in spite of my general trio dislike). Anyway, I like Klaroline the most out of all the couples because they have the most potential for growth and an interesting journey, they complement each other really well, and I like the idea that they can give each other the love the other has been missing. Just beautiful. Love th idea of having acceptance and love when it has been missing for centuries.

Today I wore my Betto Boop international travel scrub to the hospital today. The first three cities that I noticed were, "Rome, Paris and Tokyo." I had to look in the mirror and read off "London, New York and Madrid", as they were not as prominent. Inside I was laughing at myself and my Klaroline feels. Even Betty Boop has them apparently.

Yay Betty Boop. I had a very vivid dream last night involving Klaus, Caroline, and Kol and a 1920s dance. Apparently Kol had gone on a feeding spree (including on Elena) and Klaus was left to pick up the pieces and having to try to smooth things over with Caroline. Caroline thought she had died because all she remembered was being covered in blood and then passing out but Klaus was assuring her she was okay. Then somehow I became a part of things and I walked up to where Klaus and Kol were sitting down discussing what happened and I began to question Kol. Once he got up, I backed away. (WHY would I EVER do that in reality!? Kol could so have me.) And a sort of dance started of him chasing me around with that sexy little dangerous smirk of his, while Klaus just watched with a thoroughly amused expression. I woke up just before Kol caught me.

I haven't had any TVD dreams. Then again, I don't remember too many of my dreams so maybe I have and I've compelled myself to forget them. ;D
I wonder if anyone has had a Klaroline dream and then wrote it up as a fanfic?

I love this little moment and how she is blown away by Klaus's gesture.

I don't think Klaus should change for her. Tiny ways, sure. But overall, negative. I think it would demean his character to turn around and change his ways just because he fell in love with a baby vamp. He's old, smart, strong, cunning and dark. I think he might be stuck in his ways and sure, some of them could be revamped (oops, is that a pun??), but I don't want to see the "Grease" treatment here with either of them. I would love to see this be a dark romance but I don't think it will be all that dark, in actuality. I could see them both give a little to their opposing sides - Care to the dark, Klaus to the light - but I don't want to see a monumental shift. It'll just keep me that much farther on the Forwood side of the fence if that happened.

I'd like to see more significant character growth for Klaus (I think he's already well on his way in that regard), but I don't want any changes in him to be solely about Caroline. It should be more for his siblings, imo, because they're the ones throughout all this who have tried their best to stay by his side even when they had all the reason in the world to no longer support him. As big as a Klaroline fan that I am, I want most of Klaus's growth to becoming a better person to be more about Rebekah and Elijah because they're the ones who most deserve to be the reason Klaus chooses to change.

What ever change they offer to one another must be thought out carefully. ;D ;D

Good point. I'd love to see Klaus commit that change not only for Caroline, but to his family too. He owes them that much. Yeah, but even in that regard it can't be too big of a change. All of the Originals are pretty hard-headed and I like that about them. They have every right to be the way they are. They're friggin first class. lol Back to Care for a second... This whole conflict of him caring for her is what got me interested in Klaroline in the first place. He's such a [censored] and we see that sliver of humanity from him around Caroline, but he's still so unsure about it all. You can see the discomfort in some of the scenes with his approaches to her. And I love the concept of this guy being completely befuddled by this new emotions. It would and SHOULD infuriate him even more because he doesn't know how to deal with them. It's been so long. And she's not just some girl that fawns over him, she actually challenges him. If the writers are smart, they'll keep it nice and angsty. Klaus is a dirty little bastard with a heart, but he would never turn around and become a lovesick puppy. He's too alphamale for that.

IA. The character change I want to see in Klaus is with regard to his family. He loves them, they love him. What he needs to learn it to trust people. Maybe with a shortcut over Caroline he can learn to trust Rebekah and Elijah again. Maybe he could even get over his mommy-daddy trauma. Re-gaining his ability to trust would have a huge impact on everyone in his life. Klaus would be less angry, less volatile. It wouldn't suddenly make him 'good' or remove all of his negative traits. He'd still be an impulsive, megalomaniac arse, but with a few soft spots. Also, change is not simply change. Klaus wouldn't have to change who he is to be with Caroline. He'd simply have to change his ways. And it's really about one thing: Don't kill her friends. That's it.
