I'd love to see Klaus take Caroline to the theater. I think she would love it. You reading my fanfic notes?! Just kidding. I'd love this idea, as well. Or to a ballet or something so they can dress up fancy like.

You always want them against the wall. xD Well Klaus did say he'll take her anywhere ;D so the possibilities are endless LOL I'd love to see Klaus take Caroline to the theater. Okay, I like Damon...but how many want to see Klaus kicking the garbage out of Damon for compelling Caroline and using her as his personal bloodbag/sex slave? I have read enough fanfiction for this scenario, just curious how many would like it? Or at least make Damon apologize to her....

I think that's so in the past at this point, it's not even worth it anymore. (That's not to say the amount of time passed lessens the harm done. By any means.) Granted, that's just my own opinion. I think Klaus harboring a reserved anger towards the Salvatore from here on out is believable, but that's kind of there already right? But I don't envision Klaus going after him.

I wish the writers would give them more scenes together because they're so [censored]y it's hilarious. They bring out the worst in each other.

I'm pretty sure the writers would like us to forget that ever happened, so I don't think they will be addressing it. It'd be nice, though! My wish is that I just want a kiss! I have no problems with the writers taking things very slowly. I mean, we only got a handful of scenes last season but they were powerful and epic, so think what it could be if they DO spend time on this couple. Eeek! In my perfect world, Caroline would be super intrigued and interested (even though she probably doesn't want to to be) by winter hiatus and then a kiss by the spring break. That's all I ask for! ;D

That's all I ask for! ;D See, I'm a little worried with this whole Klaroline angle, to be honest. I was thinking about it in class today - I know, I'm such a wonderful student - and in the midst of brainstorming for my fanfic, I realized, hey wait a minute. This girl is still 17. Would a 17 year old act in this way or think in this way that is so mature? And I tried to reflect back on the show and her actions in it. For the most part, they're accurate enough with age and maturity. Caroline and Tyler's relationship is all sex, which I know a lot of people complain about, but they're highschool kids. That's what they should be thinking about. Then Klaus comes along and befuddles her brain entirely with his ancient wisdom and experience in the world, kind of captivating her mind, enticing her. Thus creating the Klaroline ship. In terms of reality, a man promising you the world is pretty to think about, but it's also scary as hell for someone that young. It's a naive age where you think you know everything about everything, when you know nothing. And of course it's easy to be swayed. Basically, I'm kind of just thinking...we really can't expect the relationship to go to the depths we've all been dreaming about. It's not even like the relationships between Damon/Elena/Stefan go that deep. It's a teen drama. And, for that matter, it's TV. You can't get inside a character's brain on screen so you can't get as intimate that way. Intimacy comes through dialogue and actions on TV, neither of which I think will really suffice to what all of the Klaroline shippers are fantasizing about. (except, you know, that whole up against the wall thing.. ) I'm not saying I'm losing all hope, by any means. But I think our expectations maybe need to be evaluated.

She experienced a lot of things that force a person to grow up. IA that our wishes go deeper than the show ever will, but I think there's hope. Klaus is a lot older than Caroline but so far he has absolutely respected her not being ready for what he wants, his grand offers, or even just to ditch Tyler. He understands her youth but hasn't been patronising about it. That's how I understood his attempts at wooing her. He starts with present and impressive things about himself. It's too much for Caroline. Then he takes a step back and asks her what she wants. Isn't that just the thing every teen wants to be asked? I don't think the age/experience thing is the problem here. Caroline will have to decide whether to give someone who does not follow the rules of her little MF group of friends a chance. Klaus may be the first suitor she hasn't known all her life.

I definitely get what Dee is saying, and to be perfectly honest I've never even thought about it that way. But I also think that the advantage of it being a TV show is that anything and everything is possible. I mean, I've been re-watching S3 and it honestly seems to be all over the place; a thing I didn't notice when I was watching it weekly as opposed to daily. One minute someone dies, the next they're all partying, then they have an event and before you know it Klaus is sitting on Caroline's bed telling her about all the wonderful things the world has to offer.
Caroline is young she'll just have to mature while staying 17 forever. However, I also think that if we don't see their relationship grow and deepen like we want it to, it's going be mainly due to the fact that they aren't the show's main pairing. The writer's can only fit so much into an episode.
Did I even make sense? Ugh.. I'm tired.

And you're right, it is because they aren't - what's the term, canon? I guess my hope is, even if they do do Klaroline, that they do it justice the best way they can. No one will be happy if they half-ass it, if they make Tyler and Caroline break up over something petty, if they make Klaus totally do a 360 for her, so on and so forth. It's like...I have a certain amount of faith in the writers, but at the same time, I'm flailing my arms screaming, "BE CAREFUL!" lol I keep petitioning Julie's twitter to let me help write the series. I promise I'd get everything everyone wants in it.

I wanna see caroline kicking some B-U-T-T and klaus is watching the whole scene unfold. Then again, I don't wanna see caroline get hurt in general I too wish we could see more of Caroline in the rescuer mode. It's a shame he wasn't around to witness her taking down Mason and rescuing Stefan and Damon. She was really brave. I think that Klaus would be impressed by how she handles herself during times like that.
