He probably got a witch in that place we call off-screenville. I'm surprised that they got 12 hybrids unsired in that short of an amount of time. I know time moves slower in MF. It has taken 3 plus years to get through 1 or 1 1/2 MF time. But Tyler was gone for several episodes to break his bond and claimed he had to "wolf out" over 100 times. Plus where's Klaus been that he didn't notice 12 hybrids wolfing out over 100 times?

Yeah, I'm fully prepared for them to have some plan for "trapping" Klaus or something that the writers pull out for this one episode, never to be heard from again after it doesn't work. Does anyone really feel like Klaus is in danger this episode? we know he's in episodes after so we know he doesn't die but does anyone think the episode will end with everyone THINKING they've beaten him? Sort of like end of season 3 (although Klaus is not going in another body).

No, I think it will all fail miserably. More in the 4x09 thread. I can think of some lame 'he's more vulnerable in wolf form so let's make him turn' plot. But then everyone else would have to turn, which would put the whole town in danger. Last night I had an aha! moment. We've wondered before why Klaus hasn't tried turning someone with an untriggered werewolf gene. Well, they wouldn't have to be thankful for anything and wouldn't be sired. Klaus isn't about procreation. He's about world domination. Our bb. *shakes head*

The worst I'm preparing myself for is this episode might introduce another way to kill Klaus or, as you said, "trap" him. Whatever they're trying to do to him right now we already know won't work since JM has already confirmed he's filming episodes past the mid-season finale.

JoMo has said so much about this mid-season finale!! I was so calm about it all until now...He said it was " AWESOME" and that he doesn't use this word lightly. Oh dear! I thought I'd given up thinking about the ep at this point but anyways, I was just reminded of last season's "Homecoming"...the part where Michael informs Klaus that his hybrids though sired to him, can be still compelled by an Original vampire. Could this be how Klaus knows of their stupid plans (if at all he does)? I mean, what are the chances Hayley and Tyler even remember to give vervaine to the hybrids? And whatever "discovery" Klaus makes in this episode just prompts him into killing them all? Lol..it's weird but I'm really waiting to see all the "bloodshed"...bring it on! Still the unfortunate hybrids... Hoping Charlie Bewley's character is Klaus' old friend, acquaintance or something. With these hybrids gone and useless to begin with anyways, the show needs to bring in some new people for Klaus.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I wanted him to be a vampire. As for the showdown, Klaus could make the hybrids kill each other. Wouldn't that be - wait, it's coming - a hell of a party game?

Well then let's see if their characters have any good interaction. Klaus has been around children for soooo long...!

Ok, I am wayyy to excited about this, but I would love to see a moment where Klaus compels Tyler or something.

I admit I almost felt bad for him, because he was so proud of his lovely plan and his Alpha self, but then it all went to hell: his pack ended up dead and now he's an orphan too. I imagine there's going to be some guilt and some self-blaming going on for him in the future. On the other hand, he totally had it coming. You don't get to f*** with Klaus and expect no repercussions from it. Tyler should have thought what his plan's possible failure would cause. Attack always brings defense. That whole idea was too naive, even for Tyler's standards. Also, Tyler, please stop trying to kill Klaus for a while, ok? I know he drowned your mom and eveyrthing, but if you had left him alone in the first place, none of this would have happened...

I'm with you in that if he'd left Klaus alone none of this would have happened. And that his plan wasn't well though out. It was pointed out on Tumblr again that Tyler wanted to encase Klaus when he was the only cure for werewolf bites. And he left his GF and Stefan (who is a good friend to Caroline) in the custody of hybrids that tried to kill her last episode.
Plus he didn't want the cure because the hybrids would have to go through monthly pain again. But it's okay to not think about Caroline. Maybe she wanted the cure for herself or her friends? Either way she'd probably die if attacked by werewolves as a human or vampire.
Not saying it wasn't a good idea. Just not well thought out. And he knows if you bite Klaus, Klaus will bite back harder.

I didn't get the plot at all. He wanted to put Klaus' soul into his own body and then have himself stuck in cement for a few months. Then what? Get himself released and stick Klaus back into his real body so Tyler can have his again? And then Klaus would just say "hey, you got me! Haha" and NOT go after everyone who took him down? At least the writers can't even come up with a halfway decent way to get him killed because they don't want to let him go.
